Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the power source capacity and thus to miniaturize the channel selection device by generating the pulse signal in response to the channel selection operation, supplying the output of the pulse signal to the integrating circuit using the active element to generate the DC voltage and then applying the DC voltage to the variable capacity element.
CONSTITUTION: The tuning pulse is generated from pulse generator 5 in coupling to the tuning dial operation and then supplied to controller 6. The pulse train signals sent from controller 6 is supplied to integrating circuit 7 comprising operational amplifier 11, resistances R1 and R2 plus capacitor c to generate DC voltage VF according to the pulse signals. in case voltage VF features the large negative voltage to be supplied to amplifier 11 along with a large gain, the gain for the integrator is determined by R2/R1. The negative power source of amplifier 11 is supplied after being boosted by DC-DC converter 14, and set voltage B is supplied as the positive voltage. Voltage VF is applied to variable capacity diode 10 to select the desired channel. The output of converter 14 has to be supplied only to amplifier 11, and as a result the capacity can be reduced to realize a miniature structure of the channel selection device.
