PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of the amplifier by increasing the power supply voltage, through the drive of the charge stored in the capacitor connected between the diode and the amplifier when the input signal is greater. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage Vo or more is fed to the signal input terminal 16 of the amplifier 2, the driving means 10 changes the state of the transistor 13 from the saturation to the active state and further to the cutoff state in accordance with the amplitude of the signal voltage. The potential of the capacitor 7 connected to the transistors 12 and 13 is increased with the signal voltage resulting that the amplifier supply voltage is increased almost near the twice of the maximum power supply voltage V.
