Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption of electric power, by varying the driving power of the amplifying stages preceding the driving stage that drives an output stage in accordance with the amplitude of a modulated signal. CONSTITUTION:The input signal supplied to a terminal 1 receives a modulation of pulse duration through a pulse duration modulating circuit 2 to be supplied to the base of a driving transistor (TR)3. Thus output TRs 4a and 4b are driven. The current of a TR31 varies by a change of the collector current of a TR17a to which the input signal is supplied. In this case, the current also varies for a TR29 that forms a current Miller circuit along with the TR31. Then the current corresponding to the collector current of the TR31 is supplied to the TR29 to be used as a power source of the TR4a. In other words, the voltage that drives an output TR is reduced when the amplitude of the input signal is small.
