Abstract

PURPOSE:To give a compensation only to the first half of the vertical scanning period, by adding the emitter-follower circuit to the saw-tooth wave generating circuit and then adding the resistance to the collector of the transistor in the above emitter-follower circuit. CONSTITUTION:The pulse is supplied to the input terminal A, and the saw-tooth wave voltage is produced at the collector of the transistor 2. This voltage is supplied to the differential amplifier 7 via the transistor 11 which functions as an emitter- follower. The saw-tooth wave voltage produced at the collector resistance 13 connected between the collector of the transistor 11 and the power source B is fed back to the cathode of the diode 10 via the capacitor 14. The base potential of the transistor 2 is modulated by the saw-tooth wave voltage and only in the first half of the scanning period.
