Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress change of the second grid voltage to improve the picture quality, by providing a voltage change suppressing circuit at the second grid voltage supply point which is a part of a focus power source circuit. CONSTITUTION:Voltage change suppressing circuit 10 is connected between the output terminal of transistor 1 for horizontal deflection output and the second grid voltage supply point A taken out from a part of the focus power source circuit. This suppressing circuit 10 consists of the series circuit of diode 11 and resistance 12 and capacitor 13 connected between supply point A and the earth. By forming the circuit in this manner, the voltage of capacitor 13 is held at the peak value voltage of output pulses which are always constant. Consequently, the second grid voltage applied to the second grid 9 is not affected by change of the anode current and is held at a fixed value, so that a stable and high-quality picture can be obtained.
