Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the voltage stabilizing element for screen voltage unnecessary by applying the stabilized DC voltage to the ground side terminal of the variable resistor for adjusting the screen voltage. CONSTITUTION:Voltage of the point A of the fly-back transformer 1 is applied to one terminal of the variable resistor 2 for adjusting focus voltage, and to the ground side terminal of the aforesaid resistor 2 is connected one terminal of the variable resistor 5 for adjusting screen voltage through the dropper resistor 4. Also, the ground side terminal of the above resistor 5 is connected to the stabilized DC source through the dropper resistor 6. The aforesaid DC source rectifies with a diode 8 the pulses which come in the fly-back transformer, uses the circuit which smooths them with a condenser 9, and its voltage is approximately 190V. And if high tension current of the cathode-ray tube 3 is varied now, voltage of approx. 500V of the movable terminal of the resistor 5 is varied by approx. 50V, voltage of the above movable terminal becomes as 500-190VX0.1=31V owing to the stabilized DC source, which is less than 50V. Thus one voltage stabilizing element can be removed.
