PURPOSE: To prevent deposit of crystals on the internal structure such as agitating blades and crystal layer scraping blades.
CONSTITUTION: Circulation passages of heat medium are provided in the shaft of agitator, or shaft and agitating blades thereof, or scraping blades, and the outlets of circulation passages are heated by external heater to keep the temperature above the melting point of crystals. High viscocity organic liquid of which viscosity is more than 3 C.P, having a low thermal conductivity is introduced into the passages. To construct the circulation passages of heat medium, in the case of agitating blades, a hollow pipe of small diameter is welded to part of the surface, and is communicated properly with the hollow pipe of the agitaor shaft.
