Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a trouble such as incapability of heating or freezing of cold water and enable a smooth, sure and stable run, by applying ultrasonic vibration to a latent-heat-utilizing regenerative material to prevent suppercooling.
CONSTITUTION: A medium for heating the regenerative material is filled among regenerative capusles 4 in a regenerative vessel 5. A pump 11 is driven so that the medium is conducted to a heat collector 6 through pipes 7, 8 and returned to the regenerative vessel 5 through pipes 9, 10 and flows among the regenerative capsules while heating the regenerative material 3. Otherwise, the heat medium is conducted from the regenerative vessel 5 to a cooling tower 16 and returned to the vessel through a pipe 14 and flows among the regenerative capsules while cooling the regenerative material. Each regenerative capsule is provided with an ultrasonic vibrator 17, which is supplied with a high-frequency voltage from an oscillator 18 to generate ultrasonic waves.
