Abstract

PURPOSE: To cause a scale to adhere to the heat exchange tube in an easily peeled-off manner to facilitate removal of the scale by constituting the heat exchange tube by a resin coated metal tube coated at its outer surface with a high molecular resin.
CONSTITUTION: A tank (not shown) in which geothermal water of a temperature Th and a heat exchange tube 2 through which water of a temperature Tl (where Tl<Th) and which is arranged within the tank, are provided. The heat exchange tube of the heat exchange unit 10 is constituted by a resin coated metal tube coated at its outer surface with a high molecular resin such as polyfluoethylene, phenol, metamine or the like. By this procedure, in a case where geothermal water containing impurities easily converted into scales is used as a heat transfer medium, scales can be removed easily, and maintenance of the heat exchanger is facilitated.
