Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable high speed drive by small drive power, by preventing the opposite polarity voltage caused by the transformer from being fed between the gate and the source of FET and shortening the reset time, in the circuit pulse-driving FET via the transformer. CONSTITUTION:In the circuit which connects the primary winding n1 of the transformer 4, switching element 2 and drive power supply 1 in series, and drives FET 8 with the pulse voltage caused at the secondary winding n2 of the transformer 4 with switching of element 2, the diode 5 is provided, which is connected between one end of the winding n2 and the gate of FET 8 and passes through the voltage having the polarity making conductive FET 8. Further, the emitter and collector are connected to the gate and source of FET 8 respectively, the bipolar transistor Tr7 of the same polarity as the diode 5 is provided. The drive circuit of FET 8 is constituted by connecting the resistor 6 between the base of Tr 7 and the junction point of the winding N2 and the diode 5.
