Abstract

PURPOSE:To apply the fusion metal plating on the under surface at a uniform thickness without turning around the plating metal on the upper face of strip, by jetting the fusion plating metal from the central nozzle and edge nozzle against the lower face of the strip passing on the fusion metal plating bath. CONSTITUTION:The strip 3 is travelled on the upper part of the metal plating bath 1, such as molten Zn, etc., leaving a constant gap from the face of the plating bath. The central nozzle 4 extending in the width direction of the strip 3 and the edge nozzle 6 extending in the longlish direction of the edge part 5 of the strip 3, are arranged on the face of plating bath downward the strip 3. The plating bath is sucked and jetted from the slits 13, 17 of both nozzles by the pumps 7, 14 and the above bath is contacted with the lower face of the strip 3 uniformly. The lower face of the strip 3 is uniformly plated by colliding the plating bath jetted from the nozzle 4 with the central part of the lower face of the strip 3 and also, to collide the plating bath jetted from the nozzle 6 with the edge part of the strip 3.
