Abstract
PURPOSE:To safely and effectively carry out one side hot dipping, by inducing molten metal to overflow box provided on the surface of the molten metal bath electromagnetically and contacting the molten metal with the one side of strip to be plated. CONSTITUTION:Pretreated steel strip 6 is introduced to the plating apparatus 2 form the entrance side hood 1 through the guide rolls 3, 4 provided on the apparatus 2 so as to pass through the position at a constant distance away from the stationary bath face a.
