Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the sticking of foreign matter on the surface of the material to be plated, by inclining the material to be plated and forcibly entering in molten metal and also, providing a fixed depth partition dam on the surface of the molten metal neighboring the entering part. CONSTITUTION:The material to be plated 5 is drawn out from the plating both 4 shifting the direction by the dipping roll 7 after passing through the snout 1 from the reducing furnace 2 and plating the material 5 forcibly entering in the hot dipping metal 4, such as molten zinc etc. On this occasion, the entering angle alpha of the material 5 for the metal 4 is made at 20-80 deg. and also, the foreign matter sticking prevention apparatus 8 composed of two boards 9, 9a, is provided on the entering part. At this time, 5-200mm. interval is made between the material 5 and the boards 9, 9a, and 3-200mm. dipping depth in the metal 4 of the boards 9, 9a, is made. The foreign matter, such dross etc. floated on the surface of the metal 4 between the boards 9 and 9a, is floated on the outside of the boards 9, 9a after sticking on the material 5 once and the foreign matter is removed at the entering part of the material 5 and sticking of the foreign matter to the material 5, is prevented.
