Abstract

PURPOSE: To make temperature measurement quick and accurate by providing a heat receiving plate with the 1st and 2nd thermocouples and a reflex mirror with the 3rd thermocouple, by coupling the 2nd thermocouple direct with the differential connecting point between the 1st and 3rd thermocouples, and by obtaining their composite output.
CONSTITUTION: The composite output of thermocouples 10, 11 and 12 is obtained by connecting thermocouple 12, measuring temperature Tf of heat receiving plate 17, to the differential connecting point between thermocouples 10 and 11 measuring temperature difference (Tf-TR) between temperature Tf of heat receiving plate 17 and temperature TR of reflex mirror 14. Denoting thermal conductivity between measured surface 9 and heat receiving plate 17 as h1 and that between heat receiving plate 17 and reflex mirror 14 as h2, the temperature measuring constitution of ρ=h1/h2=1 eliminates deviation ΔT of temperature Tm, corresponding to this composite output, from temperature T0 of measured surface 9. Then, holding ρ=1 by equipping heater 30 secures the measurement of invariably-stable precision.
