Abstract
The heat lost by circulating is measured by a calorimeter with a water correction factor for variations of specific heat and density as a function of temperature. Hot water flows in a pipe (2) to a thermal receiver (1) from which cooler water flows through a second pipe (3). Temperature sensors (4) produce electrical signals for a voltage to frequency convertor (5). A flowmeter (6) operates a monostable (7) whose output is applied to a counter (9) allowing counting of the number of pulses from the frequency convertor on an indicator (11). A second indicator (14) displays the flowmeter output.
