Abstract
PURPOSE:To directly indicate a value of thermoconductivity without using a special operating circuit by controlling the temperatures on the front and back surfaces of a specimen. CONSTITUTION:A temperature difference regulator 7 operates according to the output voltage of a CC differential thermocouple 10 so that the voltage difference corresponding to the temperature difference between the front and back surfaces of a specimen 6 and the calorific value of a heater 21 increases and decreases according to the output. The temperature of atmosphere in a thermostatic tank 8 is controlled by a regulator 9 so that the temperature is kept constant. As a result, the temperatures on the front and bakc surfaces of the specimen 6 is kept constant. In addition, the output of each of the heat transmission meters 51, 52 is introduced into an AMP 3 and, through a potentiometer 11 of which resistance changes in proportion to the thickness of the specimen, while the output is corrected by the quantity equivalent to the thickness of the specimen. Thus the thermoconductivity of the specimen is directly indicated by an indicator 12.
