Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize measurement of heat flow density in high accuracy by measuring the difference between the temperature on the band color surface of a temperature sensor for measuring heat flow density upon detection of temperature difference between the front and the back surfaces of a heat resistor and the temperature of an article to be measured.
CONSTITUTION: A heat retainer 12 is constructed by a plate-like heater 13, heat flow sensor 14 and temperature difference measuring element 15. The sensor 14 consists of a thermopile 141, thermoresistor 142 and temperature measuring element 143 to detect the temperature difference between the front and the back surface of the resistor 142 to thereby measure the heat flow density. The surface of the side making contact with the air of the sensor 14 is colored in band to become the same radiation ration of the surface 11 to be measured. The element 15 consists of two detecting point P1, P2 to detect the temperature difference between the front surface at the air side of the sensor 14 and the surface 11 to be measured sufficiently separated from the sensor 14.
