Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare seasoned noodlelike Konjak (paste made from the starch of the devil's-tongue) having a high nutritive value, soft and pleasant to the palate and throat, and moderate chewiness, by adding various seasonings and embryo bud flour of seeds of Sankaburo (a plant native to Africa) to the konjak flour.
CONSTITUTION: Konjak flour is incorporated with any mixture of sugar, common salt, sodium glutamate or succinate, Guinea pepper flour, powdered sea tangle, ground lobster flesh, powdered wakame seaweed, and chemical seasonings, and ambryo bud flour of seeds of Sankaburo (a plant native to Africa), an adequate amount of water with stirring. An aqueous calcium hydroxide is added to knead the mixture, and the paste is extruded from an extruder into noodles, which are boiled in hot water.
