Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease loss with respect to optical output, and simplify the constitution and improve the workability, by attaching a photo detector directly to one side of a photo reception module. CONSTITUTION:A lead wire 5b is inserted into a through-hole 8 in an insulator 6, and an anode 2a is inserted into a hollow part 7 of the insulator and affixed, at the same time. A photo detector 1 provided in the insulator 6 is inserted into a hollow part 12a of an insulator fixing part 12 of a receptacle 10, and the cathode 2b of the photo detector 1 is adhered to a plastic film 9, then the stepped part of the insulator 6 is adhered to the end part of the insulator fixing part 12 of the receptacle 10. Thus, since the photo detector is directly attached to one side of the photo reception module, the constitution may be simplified, and the workability may be improved, and cost may be reduced.
