Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve coupling performance and stability by using a first coupling part provided with an optical fiber inlet hole and a second coupling part provided with an optical fiber holding sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A first coupling part consisting of a photo detector 101, photo detecting part 102, main body 103, flange part 104 and optical fiber inlet hole 105 and a second coupling part consisting of a sleeve 108 holding an optical fiber 110, a cylindrical member 111 holding an optical fiber body 109, a compression spring 102 are made fastenable by means of a mounting nut 113. Then, when the first, second coupling parts are coupled, the optical fiber 110 enters the inside of the optical fiber hole 105 of the main body 103 of the first coupling part and is coupled directly to the photo detector 101, whereby the intended object is achieved.
