Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the operability and reliability of a molded ATS unit, by connecting a board to a coil coated and molded with resin, adjusting resonance frequency and thereafter performing prescribed resin shaping by a metal mold provided with a chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A coil 5 coated with resin by dipping is connected to a printed circuit board 9 so that the resonance frequency, Q value, etc. of the coil are adjusted by a resistor, a capacitor or the like on the board 9. These members are fitted in a metal mold 17 provided with a chamber 18. Resin is injected into the mold to shape the members. The lead wires 8 of the printed circuit board of the shaped piece and an outside cable are connected to each other in the chamber 18. Resin is then caused to flow into the chamber 18. This results in producing a molded ATS unit of high reliability with good work properties. The resonance frequency of the unit do not change and secular exfoliation does not occur on the unit after the molding.
