Abstract
PURPOSE: To automatically measure the visual sensibility and visual sensibility curves of an artificial monochromatic light source by performing the division processing of the sum and difference of the upper and lower envelope signals of the photoelectrically converted interference fringe signals.
CONSTITUTION: The interference fringe of the artificial monochromatic laser light of a light source 1 by a Michelson interferometer is scanned and detected with a photoelectric conversion circuit 9 and is converted to an electric signal. This electric signal is applied to a zero crossing detection circuit 11 as well as to variable delay circuits 26, 27. This causes a counter 13 to separate the odd-number places and even-number places of the pulses outputted by a pulse generator 12 and apply the sampling pulses to sampling circuits 14, 15. On the other hand, the circuits 14, 15, synchronized with the delayed differentiation signal of the circuit 11 by the circuits 26, 27, samples the peak-to-peak values of the bright and dark partis of the interference fringe. From the sampled values, integration circuits 16, 17 determine the upper and lower envelopes of the interference fringe electric signal converted by circuit 9. When these signals are processed in sum, difference voltage generating circuits 18, 19, division circuit 20, etc., the visual sensibility and visual sensibility curves of the artificial monochromatic light source may be automatically measured satisfactorily
