Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to determine the most proper integration time of an image sensor by controlling the photoelectic converted output at the maximum wavelength of spectroscopic sensitivity that it may take a preset maximum. CONSTITUTION:A standar test piece is used as a test piece, and the maximum wavelength of the spectroscopic sensitivity is designated by a wavelength designating switch 28. The one-dimentional image sensor 24 for scanning clock pulses 22 generates the photoelectric converted signals so that the output is latched in a latch circuit 40 when it is coincident with the address signal. Comparators 42 and 50 control an integration time determining circuit 48 in accordance with the latched content of the circuit 40. As a result, the quantity of the incident light of the maximum spectroscopic sensitivity light into the sensor 24 becomes proper. As a result, if, under this condition, the wavelength is designated for the test piece by the switch 28, the measurement for the same proper integration time can be accomplished for each wavelength.
