Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a change of a high permeability amorphous magnetic alloy thin on standing and stabilize the characteristics by specifying the temp. and the intensity of a magntic field at the time of cooling the strip in the field and specifying the conditions of the following establization heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:For example, a high permeability amorphous magnetic alloy consisting of by mol, Fe; 5%, Co; 70%, Si; 15% and B; 10% is melted at 1,200 deg.C, spouted from a quartz nozzle upon a copper roll under a press, of 0.3kg/cm<2> at a rotational frequency of 2,500rpm, and quenched to form a thin strip. This strip is cooled in a magnetic field at its magnetic transformation temp. -250-+250 deg.C for 0.1sec 24hr and subjected to stabilization heat treatment at 150-250 deg.C for 10min-1 week. Thus, the dependency of characteristics such as coercive force and s aturation magnetization on temp. can be reduced, and hence disaccomodation and a change on standing can be improved remarkably.
