Abstract

PURPOSE: To form stable flame and restrain excessively rich CO by making a scoop hole, through which a part of secondary air is supplied over the volocity change area of primary air flow, and a seirl air hole in a connected part of a main and a sub-conbmstion chamber, through which a part of secondary air is supplied.
CONSTITUTION: A gas turbine burner is provided with a fuel nozzle 3, a sub-combustion chamber 5, and a main combustion chamber 6 and a primary air hole 9 and a swirler 8 are made in the area near the head of the sub-combustion chamber 5, through which air is effected to swirl. Scoop holes 17 out into the burner to make a part of secondary air over the volocity change area of the primary air flow 12 are made in the wall of the sub-combusion chamber near the main combustion chamber 6 and auxiliary swirlers 18 are provided on the internal face expanding from the sub-combusiton chamber 5 to the main combustion chamber 6, which make a aprt of secondary air swirl to supply. Secondary air blown through the scoop holes 17 can run through the primary air flow 12 and be supplied for the flame and swirl 19 fed from the auxiliary swirler 18 can eliminate the low-temperature area so that the required purpose can be attained.
