Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a burner having a wide stable range of combustion of flame without causing any back fire by a method wherein when the air is mixed with the fuel, its mixing ratio is made to be too highter than the upper combustible limit. CONSTITUTION:Combustion air 12 is fed to the air chamber 7 and supplied to the combustion chamber 10 through a number of air supply holes 5 formed in the combustion plate 4. Part of the fuel fed to the combustion chamber forms an auxiliary flame 13 near the fuel supplying port and major part of the remaining fuel is burnt by the combustion air fed from the air feeding port 5 to form a main flame 14. The auxiliary flame 13 performs a supply of heat to the main flame 14 to contribute to stabilization of the main flame. Mixing ratio of the air with the fuel is made to be more richer than the upper combustible limit, then a flame causing no back-fire is obtd. resulting in providing a burner having a wide range of stability.
