Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.宿主にRXRアゴニストの製薬学的に有効な量を含む組成物を投与する工 程を含む、NIDDMを有する宿主を治療する方法。 2.該宿主にPPARγアゴニストの製薬学的に有効な量を含む組成物を投与 する工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 3.該組成物がPPARγアゴニストの製薬学的に有効な量をさらに含む請求 項1に記載の方法。 4.該RXRアゴニストがRXR特異的アゴニストである請求項1に記載の方 法。 5.該RXRアゴニストがLG100268である請求項4に記載の方法。 6.該RXRアゴニストがLGD1069である請求項4に記載の方法。 7.該RXRアゴニストがまたレチノイン酸受容体を活性化させる請求項1に 記載の方法。 8.該RXRアゴニストが9−シスレチノイン酸である請求項7に記載の方法 。 9.該PPARγアゴニストがチアゾリジンジオン化合物である請求項2に記 載の方法。 10.該チアゾリジンジオン化合物がBRL49653、トログリタゾン、ピ オグリタゾン、シグリタゾン、WAY−120,744、エングリタゾン、AD 5075およびダーグリタゾンよりなる群から選択される請求項9に記載の方法 。 11.該宿主にインスリン、インスリン誘導体、インスリン分泌促進物質、イ ンスリン増感剤またはインスリン模造物の製薬学的に有効な量を含む組成物を投 与する工程をさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。 12.該組成物がインスリン、インスリン模倣物またはインスリン増感剤の製 薬学的に有効な量をさらに含む請求項3に記載の方法。 13.(a)RXRアゴニストの製薬学的に有効な量;および (b)製薬学的に許容し得る担体 を含むNIDDMの治療に適した医薬組成物。 14.PPARγアゴニストの製薬学的に有効な量をさらに含む請求項13に 記載の組成物。 15.該RXRアゴニストがLG100268である請求項13に記載の組成 物。 16.該RXRアゴニストがLGD1069である請求項13に記載の組成物 。 17.該RXRアゴニストが9−シスレチノイン酸である請求項13に記載の 組成物。 18.該PPARγアゴニストがチアゾリジンジオン化合物である請求項14 に記載の組成物。 19.該チアゾリジンジオン化合物が、BRL49653、トログリタゾン、 ピオグリタゾン、シグリタゾン、WAY−120,744、エングリタゾン、A D5075およびダーグリタゾンよりなる群から選択される請求項18に記載の 組成物。 20.インスリン、インスリン誘導体、インスリン分泌促進物質、インスリン 増感剤またはインスリン模倣物の製薬学的に有効な量をさらに含む請求項14に 記載の組成物。 21.該組織にRXRアゴニストの製薬学的に有効な量を含む組成物を投与す る工程を含む、脂肪組織または筋肉組織に取り込まれるグルコースを増加させる 方法。 22.該組織にPPARγアゴニストの製薬学的に有効な量を含む組成物を投 与する工程をさらに含む請求項21に記載の方法。 23.該組成物がPPARγアゴニストの製薬学的に有効な量をさらに含む請 求項21に記載の方法。 24.該RXRアゴニストがRXR特異的アゴニストである請求項21に記載 の方法。 25.該RXRアゴニストがLG100268である請求項24に記載の方法 。 26.RXRアゴニストがLGD1069である請求項24に記載の方法。 27.該RXRアゴニストがまたレチノイン酸受容体を活性化する請求項21 に記載の方法。 28.該RXRアゴニストが9−シスレチノイン酸である請求項27に記載の 方法。 29.該PPARγアゴニストがチアオゾリジンジオン化合物である請求項2 2に記載の方法。 30.該チアゾリジンジオン化合物がBRL49653、トログリタゾン、ピ オグリタゾン、シグリタゾン、WAY−120,744、エングリタゾン、AD 5075およびダーグリタゾンよりなる群から選択される請求項29に記載の方 法。 31.該組織にインスリン、インスリン誘導体、インスリン分泌促進物質、イ ンスリン増感剤またはインスリン模倣物の製薬学的に有効な量を含む組成物を投 与する工程をさらに含む請求項21に記載の方法。 32.該組成物がインスリン、インスリン模倣物またはインスリン増感剤の製 薬学的に有効な量をさらに含む請求項23に記載の方法。
