Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.与えられた数の個別の表示装置のタイルのモザイクであって、該表示装置 タイルは単一の表示装置タイルシステム用に代表的に設けられた列および行の入 力を有し、該列および行の入力は与えられた数のタイルにわたり分布され、該表 示装置タイルは表示装置への集合に先立って適合の色座標を実質的に有する群へ 分類され、モザイクにおける各個別のタイルは自身の特徴の組を有するようにな っているもの、 ビデオ入力信号を規定する手段、および、 該モザイクに接続され、該モザイクへ該ビデオ入力信号を選択的に印加し、そ れにより色純度が維持されるようにする制御装置/駆動装置の手段、 を具備する、色補正の能力をもつタイル式の実質的に平坦なパネル形の表示装置 。 2.該ビデオ入力を平衡させる手段をさらに具備し、平均のタイルの明るさは 該ビデオ入力をタイル依存のパラメータの組により補正することにより達成され る、色補正の能力をもつタイル式の実質的に平坦なパネル形の請求の範囲1記載 の表示装置。 3.階級づけられた中性密度のフィルタをさらに具備し、階級づけの機能は表 示装置における明るさ分布の非均一性の逆数である、色補正の能力をもつタイル 式の実質的に平坦なパネル形の請求の範囲1記載の表示装置。 4.表示装置における色の非均一性の該逆数は表示装置全体にわたる明るさの 水準に実質的に適合し、表示装置の明るさの最も小なる領域は最小の減少を有す る、色補正の能力をもつタイル式の実質的に平坦なパネル形の請求の範囲3記載 の表示装置。 5.ビデオ入力を電子的に補正する手段をさらに具備し、表示装置全体にわた る明るさの水準は実質的に適合している、色補正の能力をもつタイル式の実質的 に平坦なパネル形の請求の範囲1記載の表示装置。 6.該モザイクは、表示装置のタイルの選択された実質的に適合する組として 規定され、表示装置のタイルの該組は、各表示装置タイルについての特定の範囲 内にある各々の色について明るさと色のタイル内平均値を有する色補正の能力を もつタイル式の実質的に平坦なパネル形の請求の範囲1記載の表示装置。 7.与えられた数の個別の表示装置タイルの継目なしのモザイクであって、該 表示装置タイルは単一の表示装置タイルシステム用に代表的に設けられる列と行 の入力を有し、該列と行の入力は与えられた数のタイルにわたり分布し、モザイ クにおける各個別のタイルは自身の特徴の組を有するもの、 ビデオ入力を規定する手段、および、 該モザイクに接続される制御装置/駆動装置の手段であって、該入力信号を該 モザイクへ選択的に印加しそれにより色純度が維持されるもの、 を具備する、色補正の能力をもつ継目なしの実質的に平坦なパネル形の表示装置 。 8.該ビデオ入力信号を平衡させる手段をさらに具備し、平均のタイルの明る さは、該ビデオ入力の水準をタイル依存のパラメータの組により補正することに より達成される、色補正の能力をもつ継目なしの実質的に平坦なパネル形の請求 の範囲7記載の表示装置。 9.階級づけられた中性密度のフィルタであって、該モザイクの明るさの分布 の非均一性の逆数である階級づけ機能を有するもの、をさらに具備する、色補正 の能力をもつ継目なしの実質的に平坦な パネル形の請求の範囲7記載の表示装置。 10.該階級づけられた中性密度は、該表示装置の明るさの最も小なる領域にお いて最小の光学的密度を有する、色補正の能力をもつ継目なしの実質的に平坦な パネル形の請求の範囲9記載の表示装置。 11.該ビデオ入力信号を電子的に補正する手段をさらに具備し、表示装置全体 にわたる明るさの水準が実質的に適合している、色補正の能力をもつ継目なしの タイル式の実質的に平坦なパネル形の請求項7記載の表示装置。 12.該モザイクは、選択された実質的に適合した表示装置タイルの組として規 定され、該表示装置タイルの組は、各表示装置タイルについての特定の範囲内に ある各色について明るさと色のタイル内平均値を有する、色補正の能力をもつ継 目なしのタイル式の実質的に平坦なパネル形の請求の範囲7記載の表示装置。 13.該表示装置タイルは LCDであり、各タイルの表示装置特徴を決定する該タ イル依存のパラメータの組は、下記の組: (a)画素のしきい値電圧値、 (b)画素の最大/最小の透過度、 (c)画素電圧の光学的利得、 (d)色座標、および、 (e)タイル縁部に関連するパラメータ、 から採用された任意の要素を具備する、色補正の能力をもつ継目なしのタイル式 の実質的に平坦なパネル形の表示装置。
