Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.二酸化炭素及び水性相を含む重合反応混合物を作製し、該混合物はモノマ ーと該モノマーの重合を開始させることができる重合開始剤を含有し、該重合反 応混合物中で該モノマーを重合させて該水不溶性ポリマーを製造することを特徴 とする水不溶性ポリマーを製造するための多相重合方法。 2.前記重合開始剤が前記水性相に溶解している請求項1に記載の方法。 3.前記重合開始剤が前記水性相に不溶性である請求項1に記載の方法。 4.前記重合開始剤が前記二酸化炭素に溶解している請求項3に記載の方法。 5.前記重合開始剤が前記水性相に不溶性であり且つ前記二酸化炭素に不溶性 であって、前記重合反応混合物中で分相を形成する請求項3に記載の方法。 6.前記モノマーが炭化水素モノマーである請求項1に記載の方法。 7.前記炭化水素モノマーが、ビニルモノマー、ジエンモノマー、スチレンモ ノマー、アクリルモノマー、アクリレートモノマー、ビニルエーテルモノマーよ り成る群から選ばれる請求項6に記載の方法。 8.前記炭化水素モノマーが、塩化ビニル、酢酸ビニル、エチレン、プロピレ ン、アクリロニトリル、イソプレン、クロロプレン、ブタジエン、スチレン、t −ブチルスチレン、アルキル(メタ)アクリレート、アクリルアミド、無水マレ イン酸、ビニルエーテルモノマーより成る群から選ばれる請求項6に記載の方法 。 9.前記モノマーがフッ素化モノマーである請求項1に記載の方法。 10.前記フッ素化モノマーが、ビニル基炭素に結合した少なくとも1つのフ ッ素を有するモノマー、ビニル基炭素に結合した少なくとも1つのペルフルオロ アルキル基を有するモノマー、ビニル基炭素に結合した少なくとも1つのペルフ ルオロアルコキシ基を有するモノマーより成る群から選ばれる請求項9に記載の 方法。 11.前記フッ素化モノマーが、ペルフルオロオレフィンとペルフルオロ(ア ルキルビニルエーテル)より成る群から選ばれる請求項9に記載の方法。 12.前記フッ素化モノマーが、テトラフルオロエチレン、ヘキサフルオロプ ロピレン、ペルフルオロメチルビニルエーテル、ペルフルオロエチルビニルエー テル、ペルフルオロプロピルビニルエーテル、フッ化ビニル、フッ化ビニリデン 、クロロトリフルオロエチレン、ペルフルオロ(2,2−ジメチルジオキソール )より成る群から選ばれる請求項9に記載の方法。 13.前記重合開始剤が、前記水性相に可溶性の無機過酸化物開始剤とレドッ クス開始剤より成る群から選ばれる請求項2に記載の方法。 14.前記重合開始剤が、前記水性相に不溶性のハロゲン化開始剤と炭化水素 フリーラジカル開始剤より成る群から選ばれる請求項3に記載の方法。 15.前記二酸化炭素が液状二酸化炭素である請求項1に記載の方法。 16.前記二酸化炭素がガス状二酸化炭素である請求項1に記載の方法。 17.前記二酸化炭素が超臨界二酸化炭素である請求項1に記載の方法。 18.前記方法を界面活性剤の存在下で行う請求項1に記載の方法。 19.前記ポリマーを前記混合物から分離して、該ポリマーを回収する工程を さらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。 20.前記ポリマーを前記混合物から分離する前記工程が、前記二酸化炭素相 を大気に発散させることからなる請求項19に記載の方法。 21.前記方法を連鎖移動剤の存在下で行う請求項1に記載の方法。 22.コモノマーを前記反応混合物に添加し、前記重合工程が前記モノマーと 該コモノマーとを共重合させることからなる請求項1に記載の方法。 23.前記コモノマーがフッ素化および非フッ素化コモノマーより成る群から 選ばれる請求項22に記載の方法。 24.前記コモノマーが、テトラフルオロエチレン、ヘキサフルオロプロピレ ン、ペルフルオロメチルビニルエーテル、ペルフルオロエチルビニルエーテル、 ペルフルオロプロピルビニルエーテル、フッ化ビニル、フッ化ビニリデン、クロ ルトリフルオロエチレン、ペルフルオロ(2,2−ジメチルジオキソール)、塩 化ビニル、酢酸ビニル、ビニルエーテル、エチレン、プロピレン、アクリロニト リル、イソプレン、クロロプレン、ブタジエン、スチレン、t−ブチルスチレン 、アクリレート、アルキル(メタ)アクリレート、アクリルアミド、無水マレイ ン酸より成る群から選ばれる請求項22に記載の方法。 25.二酸化炭素及び水性相と、二酸化炭素に溶解したモノマーと、重合開始 剤とを含むことを特徴とするモノマーの多相重合を実施するために有用な多相混 合物。 26.界面活性剤をさらに含む請求項25に記載の多相混合物。 27.二酸化炭素及び水性相と、水不溶性ポリマーとを含む反応混合物を作製 したのち、該ポリマーを該反応混合物から分離することを特徴とするポリマーを 製造するための多相重合方法。 28.二酸化炭素及び水性相と、水不溶性ポリマーとを含むことを特徴とする モノマーの多相重合から生成した多相混合物。 29.請求項1に記載の方法により製造したポリマー。
