(57)【要約】 【課題】 柿果実搾汁エキスの消臭作用を増強し、かつ
柿特有のにおいおよび発酵臭をなくすことができる消臭
剤組成物を提供する。 【解決手段】 柿果実の搾汁エキスと、葉から抽出した
水溶性エキスとを有効成分として含む消臭剤組成物。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、生活環境空間、食品、
化粧品、繊維製品等の消臭の目的に使用される消臭剤組
成物に関する。
【０００２】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】先に本発明者らは、柿
果実の搾汁を含まれる成分が強力な消臭作用を有するこ
とを発見し、該成分を有効成分とする消臭剤について特
許出願した（特公平３−６１４５７号）。この消臭剤の
消臭メカニズムは、柿果実搾汁に含まれるポリフェノー
ル類、縮合タンニン等による悪臭物質のマスキング効果
によるものと推測されている。
【０００３】しかしながらこの消臭剤は高濃度になると
柿独特のにおいと、搾汁の発酵による発酵臭があり、そ
のためこれらのにおいを発しない低濃度において同等ま
たはより強力な消臭効果を有する消臭剤が求められる。
【０００４】
【課題を解決するための手段】本発明者らは、その後の
研究の結果、柿の葉部分から抽出した水溶性エキスは、
果実搾汁エキスの消臭効果を増強し、かつ柿独特のにお
いおよび発酵臭を抑える効果があることを発見した。そ
こで本発明は、柿果実の搾汁エキスおよび葉から抽出し
た水溶性エキスを有効成分とする消臭剤組成物を提供す
る。
【０００５】柿葉中にはビタミンＣ、ケンフェロール、
クエルセチン等が含まれていることが知られている。ま
た柿葉は弱い抗菌作用を持っていることも知られてい
る。そのため葉からの抽出エキスの果実搾汁エキスに対
する消臭作用の増強その他の効果はこれらの成分と搾汁
エキス中のポリフェノールおよび縮合型タンニンとの相
互作用の結果であると信じられる。
【０００６】柿果実の搾汁エキスは、基本的には特公平
３−６１４５７に開示されている方法によって調製する
ことができる。例えば未熟柿または渋柿の搾汁から自然
発酵により糖分を取り除き、減圧下脱水濃縮することに
よって搾汁エキスが得られる。
【０００７】葉の水溶性抽出エキスは、乾燥した柿葉を
水溶性成分を抽出できる条件で抽出することによって得
られる。例えば、乾燥柿葉を１０％グリセリン水溶液で
加温下（約５０℃）抽出し、抽出液を減圧下脱水濃縮す
ることにより得ることができる。
【０００８】本発明の消臭剤組成物は、果実の搾汁エキ
スおよび葉の抽出エキスを以上のように脱水濃縮又は粉
末化したものを混合してもよいが、濃縮前または脱水濃
縮過程において混合し、最終的に脱水濃縮することによ
り調製することができる。
【０００９】葉抽出エキス自体は殆ど消臭効果を持たな
いが、果実搾汁エキスへ少割合を添加するときその消臭
効果を著しく増強する。そのため固形分として柿葉抽出
エキス１重量部を果実搾汁エキス１〜１０重量部または
それ以上へ添加することができる。
【００１０】
【実施例】以下の実施例により本発明をさらに詳しく説
明する。これらにおいて「部」および「％」は重量基準
による。
【００１１】１．消臭剤組成物 乾燥柿葉２００部を１０％グリセリン水溶液２００部に
浸漬し、５０℃に１昼夜保持して水溶液成分を抽出し、
濾過して抽出液を得た。
【００１２】これを未熟柿果実８００部から得た搾汁
（約４００部）と合し、６ケ月間密封保持して発酵によ
り糖分を取り除いた後、減圧下脱水して濃縮エキス３０
０部、または濃縮粉末６０部を得た。
【００１３】比較のため柿葉抽出液のみ、および果実搾
汁液のみを原料にして同様に処理し、それぞれエキスを
調製した。
【００１４】２．消臭率の測定 上で得た消臭剤組成物から以下のテスト試料Ａ〜Ｄを作
成した。 Ａ＝本発明組成物３％（固形分、以下同じ）水溶液 Ｂ＝本発明組成物１％水溶液 Ｃ＝柿果実搾汁エキス５％水溶液 Ｄ＝柿葉抽出エキス５％水溶液
【００１５】あらかじめテスト試料１ｇを加えた５００
ｍｌ三角フラスコを多数用意し、それぞれへ悪臭物質と
してアンモニア５００ｐｐｍ、トリメチルアミン２０ｐ
ｐｍ、メチルメルカプタン１５ｐｐｍ、硫化水素２０ｐ
ｐｍ、またはイソ吉草酸２０ｐｐｍを加え、すばやく密
閉して放置した。３０分後北川式検知管を用いてフラス
コ中に残っている悪臭物質の濃度を測定し、別にテスト
試料不存在下測定した悪臭物質濃度のブランク値を１０
０％としたときの悪臭物質濃度減少率をもって消臭率と
した。
【００１６】結果を表１に示す。

【００１８】表１から、柿葉抽出単独では殆ど消臭作用
はないが、果汁搾汁エキスの消臭効果を著しく増強する
ことがわかる。すなわち、本発明の消臭剤組成物１％水
溶液でも果実搾汁エキス５％水溶液に匹敵または上廻る
消臭効果を有する。
【００１９】３．官能試験 各群男性３名、女性２名よりなるＡ群、Ｂ群および対照
群に被験者を分け、Ａ群には本発明組成物１％（固形分
として、以下同じ）を含むニンニク懸濁液、Ｂ群には柿
果実搾汁エキス５％を含むニンニク懸濁液、対照群には
ニンニク懸濁液のみを飲ませ、１５時間後６名のパネラ
ーにより被験者の呼気の臭気の有無を次の６段階で判定
した。なおニンニク懸濁液は細断したニンニク０．３ｇ
を水１００ｍｌに懸濁して用いた。
【００２０】０ 無臭 １ 無臭ではないがニンニク臭は識別できない ２ 僅かにニンニク臭が識別できる ３ 軽度〜中程度のニンニク臭あり ４ 強いニンニク臭あり ５ 強烈なニンニク臭あり
【００２１】各パネラーがそれぞれの被験者群の全員に
ついて判定したスコアの平均値を表２に示す。

明の組成物は約１／５の量において果実搾汁エキスに匹
敵する消臭効果を持っている。

【００２５】各成分を混合し、適量の水を加えて良く練
合した後造粒機を用いて顆粒とし、乾燥して製品とす
る。この製品は例えば服用により口臭および便臭の不快
臭の抑止に用いることができる。
【００２６】 スプレー剤： 本発明消臭剤組成物 １．０部 塩化ベンサルコニウム １．０部 ラウリル硫酸ナトリウム ２０．０部 精製水 ７８．０部 ────────────── ─────────── 計 １００．０部
【００２７】本製品は、例えば生ごみ、靴箱、便器等に
噴霧して消臭する目的に使用される。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】柿果実の搾汁エキスおよび葉から抽出した
    水溶性エキスを有効成分とする消臭剤組成物。
  2. 【請求項２】搾汁エキスが未熟柿または渋柿の搾汁エキ
    スである請求項１の消臭剤組成物。
  3. 【請求項３】生理的に無害な賦形剤および／または担体
    を含んでいる請求項１または２の消臭剤組成物。
