Abstract

(57)【要約】 【課題】 皮膚に着けた時に低粘着性および湿潤化特性
の優れたクリーム、ジェル、ローションおよび軟膏等の
製品を製造するための組成物を提供する。 【解決手段】 本発明による組成物はシリコーンワック
ス、シリコーン流体および２種類の長鎖アルキル乳酸エ
ステル分子の混合物から構成されており、当該混合物が
組成物の粘着性減少に有効である。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は「抗菌組成物」と題
する米国特許出願第０９／００９５９６号および「化粧
品外観をもったアルコールベース抗菌組成物」と題する
米国特許出願第０９／００９４９１号に関連し、これら
の特許出願は本発明の出願人と同一の出願人により本出
願と同時出願されたものであり、全体的に本明細書に参
考文献として含まれる。また、本発明は粘着性を抑えた
ローション、ジェルおよびクリームに関し、特に、乳酸
エステル（lactate ）およびシリコーンワックスを含有
するローションおよびクリームに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】皮膚の保全を維持するために脂気や粘着
性を伴わない湿潤化を行なうためのスキンケアの配合物
および製品が最近開発されている。近年、アルコール配
合物の重要性が関連業界のみならず一般消費者において
抗微生物および湿潤化の特性を有する組成物を求める場
合に認められている。エチルアルコール、イソプロピル
アルコールおよびｎ−プロピルアルコールのようなアル
コール類は皮膚に触れると脱水作用を有することが周知
である。従って、このようなアルコール類の脱水作用性
を抑えるために湿潤化剤や軟化剤が添加される。しかし
ながら、このような製品開発方法においては、多様な構
成要素の配合によって粘着性、脂気および不快感のよう
な不所望な特性が最終製品に生じることが考えられる。
これらの不都合点を解消するために、脱粘着性混合物が
上述の配合物に使用されている。
【０００３】従来技術において開示されているそのよう
な類の混合物はシリコーンである。同様に、長鎖状乳酸
エステル分子もまた、エマルジョン、クレンジングロー
ション、クリーム、水性および非水性ジェルおよび医療
業者または一般消費者により使用される他の配合物のよ
うな多要素基材システム中における粘着性減少剤として
使用されている。
【０００４】例えば、米国特許第４，４２３，０４１号
はシリコーン流体およびシリコーンワックスを９：１乃
至１：３の比率で含むエマルジョンタイプの個人用ケア
組成物において使用する脱粘着性組成物を開示してい
る。しかしながら、このような開示にも拘らず、クリー
ムやローションにおける有効な脱粘着性配合物が依然と
して必要である。
【０００５】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】そこで、本発明は上述
のような従来技術における不都合点を解消できる脱粘着
性および湿潤化特性の優れたローション、ジェルおよび
クリーム等を製造するための組成物を提供することを目
的とする。
【０００６】
【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は乳酸エステル分
子と組合せた高分子シリコーンから成る組成物に関す
る。本発明において使用する高分子シリコーンはステア
ロキシトリメチルシランおよびシクロメチコーンであ
る。また、本発明において使用する乳酸エステルは乳酸
セチルおよび長鎖アルキル乳酸エステルである。さら
に、上記ステアロキシトリメチルシランとシクロメチコ
ーンとの間の重量比は約１：７５乃至約１：４０であ
り、乳酸セチルとＣ１２−Ｃ１５のアルキル乳酸エステ
ルとの間の重量比は約１：2乃至約１：５である。さら
に、上記２種のシリコーンの組合せをグリセリン、水、
脂質、ワックス、精油、アクリルポリマーのような湿潤
化剤の存在下に使用すると粘着性の減少が顕著になる。
加えて、本発明はクリーム、ジェルおよびローション等
の粘着性を減少するための方法を提供する。
【０００７】
【発明の実施の形態】本発明に従う組成物は約０．０１
重量％乃至約０．５０重量％、好ましくは約０．０２重
量％乃至約０．１０重量％、最も好ましくは約０．０２
５重量％のステアロキシトリメチルシランを含有し、シ
クロメチコーンの含有率は約０．５重量％乃至約２．５
重量％、好ましくは約０．７５重量％乃至約２．０重量
％、最も好ましくは約１．０重量％乃至約１．５重量％
である。さらに、乳酸セチルの量は約０．２５重量％乃
至約２．５重量％、好ましくは約０．４重量％乃至約
２．０重量％、最も好ましくは約０．５重量％乃至約
１．５重量％である。
【０００８】また、本発明において使用する長鎖アルキ
ル（Ｃ１２−Ｃ１５）乳酸エステルの配合比率は約０．
２５重量％乃至約２．５重量％、好ましくは約０．３重
量％乃至約２．０重量％、最も好ましくは約０．４重量
％乃至約１．５重量％である。さらに、上記シクロメチ
コーンに対するステアロキシトリメチルシランの重量比
率は約１：５０乃至約１：６０であるのが好ましい。ま
た、上記アルキル乳酸エステルに対する乳酸セチルの重
量比率は約１：２乃至約１：４であるのが好ましい。
【０００９】本発明は皮膚科学的に許容可能な粘着性減
少を目的とする組成物または製品配合物の開発に広く利
用でき、上記の脱粘着性要素の配合による製品が、環境
に対する保護と共に使用における好適感を与えることが
できる。特に、上記の粘着性減少のための組成物は、水
／油および油／水のエマルジョン、鉱物油またはペトロ
ラタム系クリーム、アルコール系ジェルおよびグリセリ
ン高含有率スキンケア製品のような多様な配合物におい
て重要である。
【００１０】本発明の粘着性減少用組成物はハンドクリ
ーム、ジェルおよびローション中に通常見られる他の構
成材料に添加される。このようの材料には、増粘剤、抗
微生物剤、溶媒、芳香剤、軟化剤、ｐH調整剤、粘度調
整剤、経皮性向上剤、表面活性剤、色素、着色剤等が含
まれるがこれらに限られるものではない。
【００１１】特に好ましい実施形態においては、本発明
の上記粘着性減少用化合物はほとんど無水の防腐ジェル
において使用され、このジェル中にはエチルアルコー
ル、イソプロピルアルコールおよびｎ−プロピルアルコ
ールが用いられている。さらに、この無水防腐／抗微生
物ジェル中のアルコールの量は約２０重量％乃至約５５
重量％である。このような材料系において、本発明の好
ましい実施形態はステアロキシトリメチルシランを約
０．０２５重量％で、シクロメチコーンを約１．２５重
量％で、乳酸セチルを約０．５重量％で、さらに、長鎖
アルキル（Ｃ１２−Ｃ１５）乳酸エステルを約１．５重
量％で使用している。ステアロキシトリメチルシランは
高濃度のアルコール系またはアルコール混合物に完全に
溶解せず、このような場合には、Silsoft（登録商標）P
EDM（フェニルエチルジメチコーン）という有機シリコ
ーン液体がこの軟化ワックスを分散する良好な媒体とな
ってこれを材料系に相溶可能にする。このような溶媒が
ない場合は、上記ワックスは再結晶またはアルコールの
迅速な蒸発によって手の上でフレーク状になって現れ
る。
【００１２】好ましいシクロメチコーンはDow Corning
（登録商標）２４５流体として市販されている。このシ
クロメチコーンはデカメチルシクロペンタシロキサンか
ら成るシリコーンオイルである。さらに、市販されてい
て本発明において使用可能なシクロメチコーンとしてDo
w Corning（登録商標）５８０ワックスがあり、これは
ステアロキシトリメチルシランとステアリルアルコール
の混合物で半結晶状シリコーンワックスである。乳酸エ
ステルを伴うこれら２種のシリコーンの比率は、エチル
アルコール、イソプロピルアルコールおよびｎ−プロピ
ルアルコールのような協働作用するアルコールおよびグ
リセリン、水、アクリル酸系カーボマー（carbomers）
および増粘剤、揮発性オイル、テルペン等の芳香剤およ
び脂質を含む他の構成材料の存在下において重要であ
る。シリコーン流体およびシリコーンワックスの存在下
における乳酸セチル（CERAPHYL（登録商標）−２８）お
よびＣ１２−Ｃ１５アルキル乳酸エステル（CERAPHYL
（登録商標）−４１）のようなアルキル乳酸エステルの
組合せは改善された粘着性減少効果を示した。しかしな
がら、上記組成物の配合比率が所望の値でないと、製品
の使用後に手の上で不所望なフレーク化または球状化が
生じる。この球状化は増粘剤と配合物の他の要素とによ
って小さな球状物質が形成されることによると考えられ
る。さらに、この球状化は配合物に水分が十分に存在し
ていないために生じると考えられ、配合系が不安定にな
り、構成要素が手の上で小球になって析出する。
【００１３】逆に、乳酸エステル分子を上記の粘着性導
入剤を含む配合系に加えると、粘着性が最終製品におい
て顕著になる。しかしながら、乳酸エステルを特定比率
で上記シリコーン混合物に加えると、製品の粘着性が減
少することが分かった。さらに、所定量で乳酸エステル
を加えることによって製品の蒸発速度が抑えられて、手
が湿潤化して滑らかでしなやかになる。このような製品
により与えられるしなやかさはその製品を使用する一般
消費者、医者および看護婦にとって重要である。
【００１４】理論的な説明をするまでもなく、本発明は
蒸発によって効果的バリアとしてのシリコーンと乳酸エ
ステル分子の保護層を迅速に残すことのできる混合物の
配合によって構成されると考えられる。すなわち、この
バリアによって皮膚の水分の急速な消失が防げる。この
ような製品の特徴は特に固有の脱水性を有する水−アル
コール系ジェルにおいて有利である。また、この粘着性
減少組成物によって、本発明による製品の消費者がラテ
ックスの手袋を他の場合に比してより速やかに装着し
て、皮膚温度の維持およびアルコールや抗微生物組成物
により得られる抗微生物保護によって手をさらに保護す
ることができる。
【００１５】以下の組成物を本発明において使用した。 CERAPHYL（登録商標）−２８：主に乳酸セチルを含むIS
P Van Dyk社により販売されるワックス状固体である。 CERAPHYL（登録商標）−４１：ISP Van Dyk社により販
売されるＣ１２−Ｃ１ ５アルコール乳酸エステルの混合
物である。 ULTREZ １０：BF Goodrich社により販売される増粘剤と
して有用なカーボマーポリマーである。
【００１６】本発明を説明するために以下の実施例を記
載したが、本発明をこれらの実施例によって限定するも
のではない。なお、特に記載のない限り、すべての重量
値は重量％を示す。また、以下の実施例において、短鎖
アルコール類は容量によって記載されている。
【００１７】実施例 下記実施例（表１）に示すような組み合わせで幾つかの
水−アルコール系配合物を作成した。これらの配合物は
本発明において特定されるような組成物における無粘着
性を必要とする配合物の大半に適用可能である。 （表１）配合例１ エチルアルコール（６０．５）、ULTREZ １０（０．４
５）、グリセリン（０．５）、シクロメチコーン ２４
５（１．２５）、Dow Corning ５８０ワックス（０．０
２５）、SILSOFT PEDM（０．２）、CERAPHYL-４１
（１．０）、CERAPHYL-２８（０．５）、AMP-９５、芳
香剤（０．１２）および脱イオン水。配合例２ オーストラリアンツリーオイル（２．０）およびリン脂
質CDM（０．０５）を加えた他は上記配合例１と同じ。配合例３ 上記のエチルアルコールをエチルアルコール（４０．
５）、イソプロピルアルコール（１５）およびｎ−プロ
ピルアルコール（５）に代えた他は配合例２と同じ。配合例４ 上記のエチルアルコールをエチルアルコール（４０．
５）、イソプロピルアルコール（１５）およびｎ−プロ
ピルアルコール（５）に代えた他は配合例１と同じ。
【００１８】配合例１は対照として用いた。この配合例
は粘着性ではないが、手を湿潤化して柔軟にするための
クリーム、ローションおよびジェルに共通して使用され
る他の構成要素を含んでいない。
【００１９】配合例２，３および４はアルコール混合
液、オーストラリアンツリーオイルのような精油および
リン脂質と共に使用すると非粘着性を示した。従って、
この実施例によって、上記の粘着性減少組成物が、軟化
剤、湿潤化剤およびイソプロピルアルコールやｎ−プロ
ピルアルコールのような高沸点溶媒の存在下に種々の濃
度において有効であることが分かった。
【００２０】本発明の具体的な実施態様は以下の通りで
ある。 （１）前記シクロメチコーンに対するステアロキシトリ
メチルシランの重量比が約１：７５乃至約１：４０であ
る請求項１に記載の組成物。 （２）前記Ｃ１２−Ｃ１５のアルキル乳酸エステルに対
する乳酸セチルの重量比が約１：１乃至約１：５である
請求項１に記載の組成物。 （３）前記シクロメチコーンに対するステアロキシトリ
メチルシランの重量比が約１：５０乃至約１：６０であ
る請求項１に記載の組成物。 （４）前記Ｃ１２−Ｃ１５のアルキル乳酸エステルに対
する乳酸セチルの重量比が約１：２乃至約１：４である
請求項１に記載の組成物。 （５）前記ステアロキシトリメチルシランが約０．０２
５重量％であり、前記シクロメチコーンが約１．２５重
量％であり、前記乳酸セチルが約０．５重量％であり、
前記Ｃ１２−Ｃ１５のアルキル乳酸エステルが約１．０
重量％である請求項１に記載の組成物。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように、本発明によれば、
脱粘着性および湿潤化特性の優れた製品を製造するため
の組成物が提供できる。
