Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.高圧放電ランプを始動し動作させるための回路装置であって、 前記回路装置には、スイッチング手段、誘導手段及び整流手段が設けられ、こ れら手段は、一緒にバックコンバータを形成し、該コンバータは前記スイッチン グ手段が導電状態及び非導電状態に交互に周期的に切り換えられて電流がランプ に供給されるように、供給源への接続のために入力端子に及び、前記ランプを有 する手段との接続のために出力端子に接続され、前記バックコンバータは、前記 ランプが安定したランプ動作に対応する状態にある場合、自己発振モードで動作 するような回路装置において、 前記回路装置に、ランプ状態に依存して前記バックコンバータを強制発振モー ドで動作させる手段が設けられることを特徴とする回路装置。 2.請求項1に記載の回路装置において、前記回路装置に、前記ランプ中にアー ク放電が発生する前のランプ状態において非継続モードで前記バックコンバータ を動作させる手段が設けられていることを特徴とする回路装置。 3.請求項1または2に記載の回路装置において、前記回路装置に、安定したラ ンプ動作する状態よりも前で、アーク放電が前記ランプ中にブレイクダウンの後 に生じた状態にランプ状態が対応する場合、継続モードで前記バックコンバータ を動作させる手段が設けられていることを特徴とする回路装置。 4.請求項1、2または3に記載の回路装置において、前記回路装置は、プロジ ェクションTV装置の一部を形成する高圧放電ランプを始動し動作させることに 適していることを特徴とする回路装置。 5.請求項1、2または3に記載の回路装置において、前記回路装置は、自動車 のヘッドライトシステムの一部を形成することを特徴とする回路装置。
