Abstract

본 발명은 고압 방전 램프를 점화 및 동작시키기 위한 회로 배열에 관한 것으로, 스위치 수단과, 유도 수단 및 정류수단을 구비하되, 상기 수단들은, 상기 램프에 상기 스위칭 수단의 주기적 스위칭을 통하여 전도 및 비전도 상태로 교호적으로 전류를 공급하도록, 전원에의 접속을 위한 입력 단자 및 상기 램프를 포함하는 수단에의 접속을 위한 출력 단자에 접속되는 벅(Buck) 컨버터를 함께 형성하며, 상기 벅 컨버터는, 안정적인 램프 동작 동안 자가-발진 모드로 동작한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 상기 회로 배열은, 상기 벅 컨버터로 하여금, 상기 램프 상태에 종속하여 강제 발진 모드로 동작하도록 하는 수단을 구비한다.

Claims (5)

  1. 고압 방전 램프를 점화 및 동작시키기 위한 회로 배열에 있어서, 스위치 수단, 유도 수단, 및 정류 수단을 구비하되, 상기 수단들은, 상기 램프에 상기 스위칭 수단의 주기적 스위칭을 통하여 전도 및 비전도 상태로 교호적으로 전류를 공급하도록, 전원에의 접속을 위한 입력 단자 및 상기 램프를 포함하는 수단에의 접속을 위한 출력 단자에 접속되는 벅(Buck) 컨버터를 함께 형성하며, 상기 벅 컨버터는, 안정적인 램프 동작에 대응하는 상태에 있을때에 자가-발진 모드로 동작하며, 상기 회로 배열은, 상기 벅 컨버터로하여금, 상기 램프 상태에 종속하여 강제 발진 모드로 동작하도록 하는 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 램프에서 아크 방전의 발생에 선행하는 램프 상태에 있을 때, 상기 벅 컨버터로 하여금, 불연속 모드로 동작하도록 하는 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
  3. 제1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 램프 상태가, 안정적인 램프 동작의 상태에 선행하는, 상기 램프에서 아크 방전이 브레이크다운 후 형성되는, 상태에 해당할 때, 상기 벅 컨버터로 하여금, 연속 모드로 동작하도록 하는 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
  4. 제 1 항, 제 2 항 또는 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 회로 배열은 투영 TV 장치의 일부를 형성하는 고압 방전 램프를 점화 및 동작시키는데 적합한 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
  5. 제 1 항, 제 2 항 또는 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 회로 배열은 자동차 헤드라이트 시스템의 일부를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
