Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.多孔性耐火性物品を製造する方法であって、 重合時に熱を発生する重合可能なモノマー成分を含む耐火性粒子の水様 分散体を形成する段階と、 熱分解可能なガス発生基剤を添加する段階と、 開始剤あるいは触媒またはこれら両方のような化学剤を添加して重合を 生じさせる段階と、 温度または圧力あるいはこれら両方を調節してガス発生基剤がモノマー 成分の重合の初期段階の前あるいはその最中にガスを発生し、それによって、ガ スが気泡を発生し、これらの気泡が発熱の下に相互連絡して相互連絡した開放細 孔構造を形成するようにする段階と、 を包含することを特徴とする方法。 2.請求の範囲第1項記載の方法であって、ガス発生基剤が、分解後に汚染を生 じさせる傾向があり、約7.5〜9のpHで分解し、遊離酸素を発生しないケー クを残さないものであることを特徴とする方法。 3.請求の範囲第2項記載の方法であって、ガス発生基剤が炭酸アンモニウム、 重炭酸アンモニウム、カルバミン酸アンモニウムなどであることを特徴とする方 法。 4.請求の範囲第1項から第3項までのいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、温 度、圧力を制御してガス発生基剤の分解速度を制御することを特徴とする方法。 5.請求の範囲第1項から第4項までのいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、分 散体を所定の圧力、温度で保管し、マイクロ波エネルギーを用いて重合を開始さ せ、ガス発生基剤の分解を生じさせることを特徴とする方法。 6.請求の範囲第1項から第5項までのいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、ガ ス発生基剤がハロゲン化炭化水素であり、分解を減圧下で行うことを特徴とする 方法。 7.請求の範囲第1項から第5項までのいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、ガ ス発生基剤として炭酸アンモニウムなどを用い、過硫酸アンモニウムが作用する 温度よりも高い温度で重合を生じさせる開始剤を用いて発泡作用を大気圧で行う ことを特徴とする方法。 8.請求の範囲第1項から第6項までのいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、分 散体が開始剤として過硫酸アンモニウムなどを含み、発泡剤が過硫酸塩が分解す る温度よりも低い温度で分解するものであることを特徴とする方法。 9.請求の範囲第1項から第8項までのいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、耐 火性粒子が金属、金属酸化物、非金属酸化物およびサーメットであることを特徴 とする方法。
