(57)【要約】 【課題】 十分な強度と柔軟性を有するステントを得
る。 【解決手段】 このステント1は、網構造の壁を持つ管
状柔軟性胴体2を含むとともに、網構造が網により構成
されかつ各々が結合網を介して隣接する隔室に連結して
いる複数の隣接隔室4,5を含み、ステント1の軸方向
において互いに異なる第1及び第2隔室4,5がステン
ト1の軸方向に交互に配置され、同一の隔室が円周方向
に隣り合うように設けられ、ステント1の非拡張状態で
第1隔室4が二つの対向する側に折りたたまれた網6を
持ち、非拡張状態で第2隔室5のすべての側に折りたた
まれ及び/又は集合配置された網部分7,8が設けられ
ている。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、冠状ステント、特
に、網構造の壁を持つ管状の柔軟性胴体を含む冠状ステ
ントに関し、前述の網構造が、網により構成されかつ各
々が隣接する隔室に結合網を介して連結されている複数
の隣接隔室を含んでいる冠状ステントに関する。

【従来の技術】従来から種々の異なるタイプの冠状ステ
ントが知られている。ステントは物理的に適合する物質
からできた血管補綴物を形成する。ステント又はステン
ト補綴物は、血管又は他の身体のオリフィスを拡張する
ため、さらに前述の血管を拡張した状態に維持するため
に使用される。この目的のために、ステントは非拡張状
態で患者の身体に配置され、次に適当な手段、例えばバ
ルーンカテーテルで拡張される。拡張状態では、ステン
トの個々の網部分はステントが永続的に拡張した形を続
けるように変形される。
【0003】この様なタイプのステントは例えばドイツ
実用新案登録第29702671号に記載されている。ステント
を構成する場合、ステントは非拡張状態で患者の身体に
導入して配置できる程充分に小さい直径を持たねばなら
ないという重要な問題がある。ステントは、例えば血管
の形をたどる事ができるように、ある程度縦軸方向に沿
って柔軟でなければならない。拡張状態では、ステント
は外径がかなり大きくなるように拡張されねばならな
い。この様な拡張は、裂け目又はそれと同様のものが形
成されないように個々の網部分を変形する事により達成
される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明の目的は、拡張
でき、しかも容易に製造できて安全に使用できる単純な
構造を有する上述のタイプのステントを提供する事であ
る。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明に係る冠状ステン
トでは、お互いから離れるように移動可能な第1、第2
隔室はステントの軸方向に交互に配置され、同一の隔室
は円周方向に隣り合うように設けられる。ステントの非
拡張状態では、第1隔室の二つの対向する側には折りた
たまれた網が設けられ、第2隔室のすべての側には折り
たたまれ及び/集合配置される網部分が設けられる。
【0006】本発明のステントは幾つかの重要な利点に
より特徴づけられる。非拡張状態では、異なる隔室を交
互に配置する事により、一方では充分な強さが他方では
充分な柔軟性が得られる。異なる隔室の網又は網部分は
異なる拡張特性を持つので、単純且つ信頼できる方法で
ステントを拡張できる。従って、異なる隔室は網の一致
した変形を可能とし、その結果裂け目等の形成を防止で
きる。
【0007】第1隔室の折りたたまれた網を、円周方向
に延びるテープ状の部分を形成するようにジグザク形状
とすれば、特に有利である。このテープ状の部分はステ
ントの強度を増し、又拡張状態での寸法の安定性を保証
する。第2隔室の網又は網部分は異なる構成であるの
で、網又は網部分の異なる拡張特性が可能である。ジグ
ザグ形状の網部分は第1隔室と同様の方法で変形できる
一方、弧形状に集合配置されている網部分はより大きな
変形と拡張を可能とする。S形状配置とすることによ
り、非拡張状態でスペースを節約できるとともに、非常
に長い網部分を提供する事ができる。
【0008】第1隔室の折りたたまれていない網は、好
ましくは弧形状で互いに平行に配置され、その結果、特
に拡張状態で充分量の隔室の変形と安定性の増大が得ら
れる。

【発明の実施の形態】図1には本発明のステント1の基
本構造が示される。ステント1は、図1にその前面が見
える壁3を持つ柔軟性管状胴体2を含む。図2は本発明
の網構造の構成を示す。図から明らかなように、第1隔
室4の列はステント1の円周方向に隣り合うように形成
され、また第2隔室5の列も円周方向に隣り合うように
形成されている。そして、第1隔室4及び第2隔室5の
列はステント1の軸方向において交互に形成されてい
る。
【0010】複数の第1隔室4の各々には、ジグザグ形
状又はv形状に配置された網6が二つの対向する側に形
成される。この網6は円周方向に延びるテープ状の部分
を形成している。一方、第1隔室4の別の両側は互いに
平行な弧状の網9により形成されている。この弧状の網
9は各々同一に形成され、折りたたまれない。第2隔室
5の形状及び構成は、隔室5を構成するすべての網が折
りたたまれるか集合配置されるという点が第1隔室4の
それとは異なる。
【0011】図4に示されるように、v形状又はジグザ
グ形状の網7が隔室5の二つの対向する両側に形成さ
れ、一方別の二つの対向部分にはそこにおいて弧形状に
係止するように集合配置された網8が形成されている。
すなわち、互いに逆に湾曲した弧形状の部分が主に円周
方向において互いに重なるように形成されている。した
がって網8はS形状の構造を持っている。
【0012】本発明の構造の冠状ステント1は、非拡張
状態では縦方向、横方向共に非常に柔軟性がある。網の
配置とデザインが良好な拡張特性と又拡張状態での高度
の寸法安定性を生み出す。本発明のステントは物理的に
適合する物質、特にステンレススチールにより形成され
ている。本発明は例証する実施形態に限られるものでは
ない。むしろ、多くの変形と改良が本発明の範囲内で可
能である。

【発明の効果】以上のように本発明のステントでは、異
なる隔室を交互に配置しているので、十分な強さと柔軟
性が得られる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】網構造の壁を持つ管状柔軟性胴体(2)を
    含むとともに、前記網構造が網により構成されかつ各々
    が結合網を介して隣接する隔室に連結している複数の隣
    接隔室(4、5)を含み、 前記ステント(1)の軸方
    向において互いに異なる第1及び第2隔室(4、5)が
    前記ステント(1)の軸方向に交互に配置され、 同一の隔室が円周方向に隣り合うように設けられ、 前記ステント(1)の非拡張状態で前記第1隔室(4)
    が二つの対向する側に折りたたまれた網(6)を持ち、 非拡張状態で前記第2隔室(5)のすべての側に折りた
    たまれ及び/又は集合配置された網部分(7、8)が設
    けられている、ことを特徴とする冠状ステント。
  2. 【請求項2】前記第1隔室(4)の前記折りたたまれた
    網(6)がジグザグ形状に配置されていることを特徴と
    する、請求項1に記載の冠状ステント。
  3. 【請求項3】前記第1隔室(4)の折りたたまれた網
    (6)が円周方向に延びるテープ状の部分を形成してい
    ることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の冠状ステント。
  4. 【請求項4】前記第2隔室(5)の網又は網部分(7、
    8)が折りたたまれ及び/又は異なる形で集合配置され
    ていることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれかに
    記載の冠状ステント。
  5. 【請求項5】二つの対向する側の前記網(7)がジグザ
    ク形状をしていて、別の二つの対向する網(8)が弧形
    状に集合配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項4に
    記載の冠状ステント。
  6. 【請求項6】前記弧形状の部分が実質的にS形状をして
    いることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の冠状ステン
    ト。
  7. 【請求項7】前記第1隔室(4)の折りたたまれない網
    (9)が弧形状をしていることを特徴とする、請求項1
    から6のいずれかに記載の冠状ステント。
  8. 【請求項8】前記第1隔室の折りたたまれない網(9)
    が各々同一に作られ、お互いに平行に配置されているこ
    とを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の冠状ステント。
