Claims (6)
- 生体の脈管内に植え込まれ、上記脈管をその内部から支持する脈管用ステントであって、
互いに組み合わせられて一端側から他端側に亘って一の流路を構成する管状体を形成する複数の管状体形成エレメントを備え、
上記管状体形成エレメントは、一連に連続する生分解性ポリマーからなる線条体を折り曲げて形成され、上記線条体の中途部には、一の方向に突出するように折り曲げられた第1の突出部と上記第1の突出部とは逆方向に突出するように折り曲げられた第2の突出部とが交互に多段に複数形成されるとともに、上記第1の突出部と上記第2の突出部とが交互に連続する一部に、上記第1の突出部の一方の側と上記第2の突出部の他方の側を連続して連結する連結脚が形成され、
上記複数の管状体形成エレメントは、互いに異なる管状体形成エレメントの上記連結脚を互いに隣接させて組み合わせるとともに、上記互いに隣接する連結脚の少なくとも一部を接合して一体化され、上記第1及び第2の突出部が上記管状体の軸方向に交互に多段に配置された上記管状体を構成し、
さらに、上記管状体形成エレメントの上記連結脚の中途部に、上記連結脚の一部を湾曲方向を互いに逆向きに湾曲して形成した一対の屈曲部からなり、上記管状体に加えられる押圧力により弾性変位する弾性変位部が設けられていることを特徴とする脈管用ステント。 - 上記弾性変位部は、上記連結脚の一部を互いに重なることなく、湾曲方向を互いに逆向きにして略S字状に湾曲して形成した一対の屈曲部からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の脈管用ステント。
- 上記管状体を形成する複数の管状体形成エレメントのうちの一の管状体形成エレメントに形成された弾性変位部は、上記複数の管状体形成エレメントが互いに組み合わされ一体化されて一の管状体を構成したとき、他の管状体形成エレメントとさらに他の管状体形成エレメントの相対向する第1の突出部と第2の突出部との間に位置するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の脈管用ステント。
- 上記一連に連続する生分解性ポリマーからなる線条体は、ポリ乳酸(PLA)、ポリグリコール酸(PGA)、ポリグリコール酸とポリ乳酸の共重合体、ポリジオキサノン、トリメチレンカーボネートとグリコリドとの共重合体 、ポリグリコール酸又はポリ乳酸と ε−カプロラクトンとの共重合体の1又は2以上の生分解性ポリマーからなることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の脈管用ステント。
- 上記複数の管状体形成エレメントの互いに隣接する連結脚の少なくとも一部は、接着剤又はスポット溶接により接合されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の脈管用ステント。
- 上記管状体は、当該管状体を構成する複数の管状体形成エレメントに形成された第1及び第2の突出部を変位部にして外周径を縮径又は拡径することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の脈管用ステント。
