Claims (8)
- 生体の脈管内に植え込まれて、上記脈管をその内部から支持する脈管用ステントであって、
生分解性ポリマーからなる線条体を直線部分と屈曲部分とが順次連続するように折り曲げて形成された管状体の一部を構成する複数の管状体形成エレメントと、
上記管状体形成エレメントの直線部分に挿通して装着された上記線条体と同種の生分解性ポリマーからなる筒状の接続部材とを備え、
上記複数の管状体形成エレメントは、互いに組み合わせられて一端側から他端側に亘って一の流路を有する管状体を構成するとともに、上記管状体を構成する互いに異なる管状体形成エレメントの隣接する部分にそれぞれ装着された上記接続部材の互いに接触された部分が溶融接合され一体化されて一の管状体を構成したことを特徴とする脈管用ステント。 - 上記管状体形成エレメントは、複数の直線部分の一部に長尺な直線部分を設けることにより、上記屈曲部分が上記管状体の軸方向に多段状に配置されるように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の脈管用ステント。
- 上記管状体形成エレメントは、管状体の周面を構成するように筒状に巻き付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の脈管用ステント。
- 上記接合部材は、上記線条体を構成する生分解性ポリマーより融点(Tm)が低い生分解性ポリマーにより構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の脈管用ステント。
- 上記線条体と上記接続部材は、同種のポリ乳酸により形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の脈管用ステント。
- 上記複数の管状体形成エレメントは、互いに重なり部分を有することなく組み合わせられて管状体を構成していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の脈管用ステント。
- 上記複数の管状体形成エレメントを接続する接続部材は、管状体の周面に螺旋状に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の脈管用ステント。
- 管状体形成エレメントを構成する線条体は、一連に連続したモノフィラメントであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の脈管用ステント。
