Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 自動車のトランク又はボンネット等に装着さ
れる自動車用スイッチにおいて、防水性、組立性を向上
できる優れた自動車用スイッチの提供を目的とする。 【構成】 相手側カプラ２１とのジョイント部を覆い被
せて、直接外部より雨水等が浸入しないように、ケース
１２の側面周囲に一体成形にてスカート部１８を設ける
ことにより、別物のゴムカバーを取り付けることなく防
水性を向上することができ、特に自動車用スイッチとし
てよくある上方からの水の浸入防止に大きな効果があ
る。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は自動車のトランク又はボ
ンネット等に装着されるリッドスイッチ又はボンネット
スイッチと称する自動車用スイッチに関するものであ
る。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】図３及び図４は従来のこの種のスイッチ
の構成を示しており、同図において、１はケース２に摺
動可能に保持されている軸であり、この軸１には接触片
３が取り付けられていると共に復帰用バネ４により常に
図中の上方に付勢されている。５は端子６が挿入されて
いる端子板であり、略中央に前述した復帰用バネ４を保
持し、更にケース２に保持されている。そして端子板５
に保持された端子６と、接触片３が接触手段を構成して
いる。７は端子板５と一体となった回路接続用のカプラ
部であり、回路の信号をスイッチ外部の機器（図示せ
ず）に接続している。
【０００３】８はケース２に保持されているゴムカバー
であり、カプラ部７に接続される相手側カプラ２１との
ジョイント部２ａを覆い被せるように後付けされてい
る。９はケース２に保持されているゴムキャップであ
り、軸１を覆うと共に防水手段として形成されている。
１０はケース２に取り付けられたブラケットであり、車
両側取付部に取り付けられる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら上記従来
の構成の自動車用スイッチでは防水機能を持たせるため
にカプラ７及び２１も防水性の物を使用し、かつスイッ
チ側カプラ７と相手側カプラ２１とのジョイント部２ａ
より水が浸入する危険性があるためにゴムカバー８を別
体でケース２に後付け装着してジョイント部２ａを覆う
ように構成していたが、ケース２とゴムカバー８との嵌
合部が異形形状のために一部密着しておらず、密着度を
増そうとゴムカバー８の内周を小さくするとゴムカバー
８の装着が困難となると共に、スイッチ側カプラ７と相
手側カプラ２１との嵌合も困難となるため、結局ある程
度甘い嵌合にせざるを得ない状態であった。それでも自
動車業界では防水にはゴムカバー８を使用するものであ
るという考え方が常識となっており、ゴムカバー８を別
物に置き換えるという発想はなかった。
【０００５】本発明はこのような従来の課題を解決する
ものであり、防水性、組立性を向上できる優れた自動車
用スイッチを提供しようとするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は上記課題を解決
するために、直接外部より雨水等が浸入しないように、
ケースの側面周囲に、相手側カプラとのジョイント部を
覆い被せる程度にスカート部を一体成形にて形成する構
成としたものである。
【０００７】
【作用】この構成によって、スカート部内側の空洞部分
の形状及び寸法は成形金型品のため精度よく作ることが
できるので、相手側カプラとの嵌合も精度よくでき、し
かも一体成形のため反対側の上方から雨水などの浸入が
ない構造とすることができる。
【０００８】又、水の浸入ルートが入口から端子に到達
するまでに、順に上がって下がって上がるという、引力
に２度も逆らい、しかもルートも長く、入口から浸入し
た水が端子に届きにくい構造になるために十分な防水効
果を発揮することができる。

【実施例】以下、本発明の一実施例について図面を用い
て説明する。
【００１０】図１及び図２は同実施例による自動車用ス
イッチの構成を示すものであり、同図において１１はケ
ース１２に摺動可能に保持されている軸であり、この軸
１１には接触片１３が取り付けられていると共に復帰用
バネ１４により常に図中の上方に付勢されている。１５
は端子１６が挿入されている端子板であり、略中央に前
述した復帰用バネ１４を保持し、更にケース１２に保持
されている。そして端子板１５に保持された端子１６と
接触片１３が接触手段を構成している。１７は端子板１
５と一体となった回路接続用のカプラ部であり、回路の
信号をスイッチ外部の機器（図示せず）に接続してい
る。
【００１１】１８は水の浸入を防止するために相手側カ
プラ２１とのジョイント部を覆い被せるように、ケース
１２の側面周囲に一体成形されたスカート部である。１
９はケース１２に保持されているゴムキャップであり、
軸１１を覆うと共に防水手段として形成されている。２
０はケース１２に取り付けられたアングルであり、車両
側取付部に取り付けられる。２１は相手側カプラであ
り、下方から装着され、端部がケース１２と一体となっ
ているスカート部１８の内側に入り込むように形成され
ているため、丁度相手側カプラ２１の開放側をスカート
部１８にてカバーした形となり、特に上方からの水の浸
入防止に大きな効果がある。

【発明の効果】上記実施例より明らかなように本発明に
よる自動車用スイッチは、相手側カプラとのジョイント
部を覆うためのスカート部をケースの側面周囲に一体成
形しているので、別物のゴムカバーを取り付けることな
く防水性を向上することができ、特に自動車用スイッチ
としてよくある上方からの水の浸入防止に大きな効果が
ある。又、組み込み工数の低減及び部品点数の削減によ
りコスト低減を図ることができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 取付け用アングルを具備したケースと、
    このケースの上面を挿通するように内部に摺動可能に組
    込まれた軸と、この軸の上部を覆うように上記ケースに
    保持されたゴムキャップと、上記軸の下方に配置され、
    かつ軸と共に復帰用バネにより付勢された接触片と、こ
    の接触片と当接して回路を形成する端子を備えて上記ケ
    ースの下方に嵌合されたカプラ部からなり、上記ケース
    の下端部に、このケースに嵌合されたカプラ部に嵌合さ
    れる相手側カプラの一部を覆い被せるようにはまり込む
    スカート部を一体で形成してなる自動車用スイッチ。
