【考案の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本考案は、フロアに取付ブラケッ
トを介して固定されるロアレールに、シートに固定され
るアッパーレールを摺動自在に嵌合し、ロアレールの端
部及び取付ブラケットを覆う保護カバーを取り付けてな
る自動車用シートスライド、特にその保護カバーの形状
に関する。

【従来の技術】従来、この種の保護カバーは、合成樹脂
材料によって成形され、ロアレールをフロアに固定する
ための取付ブラケットのフロア取付部及びロアレールへ
の取付部を覆うような形状を有している。(例えば実開
昭60-34938号公報参照)
【０００３】従来の構造においては、保護カバーによっ
て、取付ブラケットの全体を覆うことは容易に行い得る
が、ロアレールの端部を覆うことは困難である。すなわ
ち、ロアレールの端部を保護カバーによって覆うように
すると、アッパーレールの端部がロアレールの端部から
オーバーハングするような位置に前後動すると、アッパ
ーレールの端部が保護カバーに干渉するおそれがあるた
め、アッパーレールの前後への移動量が規制され、結局
は、ロアレールの端部がフロア上に露出することにな
り、突起感があって見栄えが悪く、また着座者の靴等を
傷付けたり汚すおそれがある。
【０００４】この問題点を解消するため、例えば、保護
カバーにアッパーレールの移動を許容するスリットを形
成することが考えられるが、スリットを形成するとシー
トが最前端または最後端位置に移動して保護カバーがフ
ロア上に露呈した際に、スリットが後席着座者から直接
見えてしまい、見栄えが悪いという問題点がある。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】本考案は、従来の技術
が有する上記のような問題点に鑑み、取付ブラケット及
びロアレールの端部を覆うことによって、見栄え及び安
全性を向上させ、しかも保護カバーに形成されるスリッ
トが直接露出することがないようにして、さらに見栄え
の向上を図った自動車用シートスライドの保護カバーを
提供することを目的とする。
【０００６】
【課題を解決するための手段】前記目的を達成するた
め、本考案の装置は、フロア側に取付ブラケットを介し
て固定され、上部に長手方向を向く開口を形成したほぼ
Ｕ字状のロアレールに、シート側に固定され、ロアレー
ルの開口から上方に延出する基片及びロアレール内に摺
動自在に嵌合する下部を有するアッパーレールを摺動自
在に嵌合し、ロアレールの端部及び取付ブラケットを覆
うように保護カバーを取り付けた自動車用シートスライ
ドにおいて、保護カバーのロアレールの上部を覆う上方
覆い部にアッパーレールの基片を移動可能にするスリッ
トと、スリットに沿って立ち上がる起立部の上端からス
リットに向けて上方から覆い被るように延出する上面部
を有するスリット覆い部を形成したことを特徴としてい
る。

【作用】ロアレールの端部及び取付ブラケットを覆うよ
うに取り付けられる保護カバーには、ロアレールの上部
を上方から覆う上方覆い部が形成され、この上方覆い部
には、長手方向に沿って切設されたスリット及びスリッ
トに沿って立ち上がる起立部の上端から、上方覆い部と
所定の間隔を有してスリットに上方から覆い被さるよう
に延出する上面部を有するスリット覆い部が形成されて
いる。アッパーレールの端部がロアレールの端部からオ
ーバーハングするような位置に移動する場合は、アッパ
ーレールの基片が保護カバーのスリットを移動すること
により、アッパーレールは保護カバーに干渉することな
く移動することができる。
【０００８】また、シートが最前端に移動してロアレー
ルの端部に設けられた保護カバーが後席フロア上に露出
しても、スリットは、スリット覆い部により覆われてい
るので、後席着座者からスリットが直接見えることがな
い。

【実施例】以下、本考案の一実施例を、図面に基づいて
説明する。(１)は、長手方向の前後端に固着された前後
の取付ブラケット(７)(８)を介して車体のフロア(Ｆ)に
固定されるとともに、断面形状がほぼＵ字状をなすロア
レールで、図３に示すように略水平の基部(２)と、基部
(２)の両側部より起立する左右の側部(３)と、両側部
(３)の上端より互いに内方に向かって延出する上部(４)
と、上部(４)の内端より垂下する垂下部(５)とから形成
され、両上部(４)間には長手方向に沿って開口(６)が形
成されている。ロアレール(１)の一方の側部(３)には、
複数の矩形のロック部(９)が、長手方向に沿って一定間
隔をもって穿設されている。
【００１０】(10)は、シート側に固着され、ロアレール
(１)内に転動自在に配設されたボール(14)及びローラ(1
5)を介して摺動自在に嵌合されたアッパーレールで、ロ
アレール(１)における両上部(４)間の開口(６)を通って
上方に延出し、かつクランク状に屈曲した基片(11)と、
基片(11)の下方部(11a)の下端よりロアレール(１)の基
部(２)とほぼ平行をなして両側方に向かって延出し、ロ
アレール(１)内に嵌合する下部(12)と、下部(12)の先端
より起立する起立部(13)とから形成され、基部(11)の上
方部(11b)をシート(Ｓ)のクッションフレームに、ボル
トによって取り付けることにより、シート(Ｓ)を前後方
向に移動可能に担持することができる。
【００１１】(16)は、前方にハンドル(16a)を有して、
アッパーレール(10)とほぼ平行をなす操作軸で、アッパ
ーレール(10)の長手方向のほぼ中央の基部(11)の上方部
(11b)に固着されたブラケット(17)の両支持部(17a)に回
動自在に枢着されている。(18)は、操作軸(16)に固着さ
れたラッチで、下方の先端に設けた係合部(18a)が、ロ
アレール(１)のロック部(９)に係合することにより、ロ
アレール(１)に対するアッパーレール(10)の前後動を阻
止して、シート(Ｓ)を所望する位置に固定することがで
き、またハンドル(16a)を操作して操作軸(16)を回動さ
せ、係合部(１８ａ）をロック部(９)から離脱させるこ
とにより、アッパーレール(10)の前後動を自由にしてシ
ート(Ｓ)を前後に調整移動させることができる。
【００１２】(19)は、後方及び一側方が閉塞された箱状
をなし、ロアレール(１)の端部(１a)および取付ブラケ
ット(８)を覆う合成樹脂材料で一体成形された保護カバ
ーで、ロアレール(１)の上部(４)を上方から覆う上方覆
い部(19a)及び上方覆い部(19a)の一側縁から垂下してロ
アレール(１)の側部(３)と後部ブラケット(８)を側方か
ら覆う側方覆い部(19c)が形成され、上方覆い部(19a)に
は、前端縁が開口し、かつ長手方向を向くスリット(19
b)が切設されるとともに、上方覆い部(19a)のスリット
(19b)の近傍には、スリット(19b)に沿って立ち上がる起
立部(20a)の上端から、上方覆い部(19a)と所定の間隔を
有してスリット(19b)に上方から覆い被さるように側方
に延出する上面部(20b)を有するスリット覆い部(20)が
形成され、ロアレール(１)を取付ブラケット(８)を介し
てフロアに固定した後に、ロアレール(１)の側方からロ
アレール(１)の後端部(１a)に被せて取付ブラケット
(８)に固定することにより、ロアレール(１)の端部(１
a)および取付ブラケット(８)を覆うことができる。
【００１３】ハンドル(16a)を操作して、ラッチ(18)の
係合部(18a)をロック部(９)から離脱させて、アッパー
レール(10)の後端部(10a)がロアレール(１)の後端部(１
a)から後方にオーバーハングするような位置に移動する
場合は、アッパーレール(10)の基片(11)の下方部(11a)
が保護カバー(19)のスリット(19b)を、また基片(11)の
クランク部(11c)が上面部(20b)と上方覆い部(19a)との
間隙内を移動することにより、アッパーレール(10)は保
護カバー(19)に干渉することなく後方に移動することが
できる。
【００１４】また、シート(Ｓ)が最前端に移動してロア
レール(１)の後端に設けられた保護カバー(19)が後席フ
ロア上に露出しても、スリット(19b)は、スリット覆い
部(20)により上方から覆われているので、後席着座者か
らスリット(19b)が直接見えることがない。

【考案の効果】本考案は、次のような効果を有する。 (a)保護カバーにより、ロアレールの端部及び取付ブラ
ケットが覆われるので、見栄え及び安全性が向上する。 (b)アッパーレールがロアレール端部からオーバーハン
グする移動に対しては、アッパーレールの基片が保護カ
バーに設けたスリット内を移動することができるので、
保護カバーに干渉することなく、アッパーレールを自由
に移動させることができる。 (c)保護カバーのスリットは、スリット覆い部により上
方から見えることがないように覆われるので、さらに見
栄えが向上し、また保護カバー内への異物の進入を防止
することができる。

  1. 【請求項１】 フロア側に取付ブラケットを介して固定
    され、上部に長手方向を向く開口を形成したほぼＵ字状
    のロアレールに、シート側に固定され、ロアレールの開
    口から上方に延出する基片及びロアレール内に摺動自在
    に嵌合する下部を有するアッパーレールを摺動自在に嵌
    合し、ロアレールの端部及び取付ブラケットを覆うよう
    に保護カバーを取り付けた自動車用シートスライドにお
    いて、保護カバーのロアレールの上部を覆う上方覆い部
    に、アッパーレールの基片を移動可能にするスリット
    と、スリットに沿って立ち上がる起立部の上端からスリ
    ットに向けて上方から覆い被るように延出する上面部を
    有するスリット覆い部を形成したことを特徴とする自動
    車用シートスライドの保護カバー。
