Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 真空又は圧空成形により製造された樹脂ボッ
クスであっても孔や傷痕を外観部分に残すことなくボル
トやナットなどの金具を能率的に取りつけることを可能
とする。 【構成】 ボルト2やナット3などの金具にこれらを安
定的に保持可能とする樹脂片4を固定させ、この樹脂片
を介し同金具を超音波プラスチックウエルダー5により
樹脂ボックス1の所要位置に溶着させるように行う。

【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】本発明は樹脂ボックスへの金具取
付方法に関する。
【0002】
【従来の技術】樹脂ボックスを安価に製造する手段とし
て樹脂板を真空又は圧空成形することによりボックスと
なすことが行われるが、この手段によるときはインゼク
ション成形のように部分的に樹脂の肉厚を大きくなすこ
とが行い難いため、ボルトやナットなどの金具をボック
ス壁面に容易に取りつけることができないのである。従
来における金具の取付手段としては樹脂に孔を明けてこ
れに金具を挿入し金具と樹脂を接着剤で接着する方法、
樹脂に孔を明けてこれに金具を圧入する方法或いは、樹
脂に孔を明けてリベット止めにする方法などがあった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】上記した在来の金具の
取付手段では樹脂ボックスの外観部分に取付のための孔
や、取付のさいの傷痕が見えるためデザイン上好ましく
なく、また取付作業を能率的に行えないなどの問題があ
り、また接着剤を使用する手段では強度が不足するなど
の問題もあった。本発明は斯有る問題点を解消させるこ
とを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するた
め、本発明はボルトやナットなどの金具にこれらを安定
的に保持可能とする樹脂片を固定させ、この樹脂片を介
し同金具を超音波プラスチックウエルダーにより樹脂ボ
ックスの所要位置に溶着させることを特徴とする。この
さい金具をNC制御により樹脂ボックスの所要位置に位
置決めするようになすのがよい。

【作用】超音波プラスチックウエルダーは金具に固定し
た樹脂と樹脂ボックスとを振動により発生される摩擦熱
により双方の樹脂を短時間のうちに溶着固定させるもの
となる。また金具をNC制御により自動的に位置決めさ
せることは取付作業を著しく迅速化させるものとなる。

【実施例】図1は本発明に係る金具を示す図、図2は本
発明の実施の状態を示す図である。樹脂ボックス1には
一般にその内部に固定されるスイッチやプリント基板な
どの部品を固定するための金具が取りつけられる。この
金具には例えばボルト2やナット3などがある。本発明
ではこのボルト2やナット3などの取付けにさいしこれ
らを安定的に保持可能とする樹脂片4を介して固定する
のである。このさい樹脂片4には樹脂ボックス1と対合
溶着させる部位に突起4aを設けるのであって、この突
起4aの形状は単一の山形よりも出来るだけ輪状となす
のが好ましい。
【0007】5は超音波プラスチックウエルダーで、N
C制御装置6を介して位置制御されるものとなしてあ
る。このウエルダー5は超音波振動子7を具備すると共
に先端に金具把持装置8の固定されたコーン9が設けら
れてなる。10は同ウエルダー5を上下動させるための
シリンダー装置である。
【0008】このウエルダー5を使用して樹脂ボックス
1にボルト2やナット3などの金具を取りつけるさい
は、予めボルト2やナット3などに対しこれらを安定的
に保持可能となる樹脂片4を固定させておき、その金具
(図示例ではボルト2)を把持装置8に把握させる。次
いでNC制御装置6に同ウエルダー5の位置決めを行わ
せるのであり、これによりNC制御装置6は素早く同ウ
エルダー5を所定位置に保持するものとなる。この後、
シリンダー装置10が同ウエルダー5を降下作動させて
樹脂片4を樹脂ボックス1の表面に押圧し、続いて同ウ
エルダー5が振動を開始するものとなる。これにより樹
脂片4と樹脂ボックス1の表面は激しく摩擦されて摩擦
熱が発生し、この熱で突起4aなどが溶融し双方の樹脂
部分が瞬時に溶着されるものとなる。この後、同ウエル
ダー5はシリンダー装置10により引き上げられ、これ
により把持装置8が金具から離反される。かくして一つ
の金具の取付作業が終了するのであり、以後は同じこと
の繰り返しである。

【発明の効果】上記した本発明によれば、真空又は圧空
成形により製造された樹脂ボックスであっても従来の如
き孔や傷痕をその外観部に残すことなく金具を能率的に
取りつけることができるほか金具の取付強度にも優れた
ものとなるのである。特に金具をNC制御により位置決
めさせるときは金具の取付作業が著しく迅速化されるも
のとなる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 ボルトやナットなどの金具にこれらを安
    定的に保持可能とする樹脂片を固定させ、この樹脂片を
    介し超音波プラスチックウエルダーにより樹脂ボックス
    の所要位置に溶着させることを特徴とする樹脂ボックス
    への金具取付方法。
  2. 【請求項2】 樹脂片の接合面となる部位に同樹脂によ
    る突起が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載
    の樹脂ボックスへの金具取付方法。
