Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本発明は、合成樹脂を混合した木質板に合成樹脂の部品
を取り付ける超音波による木質板への部品取付方法に関
するものである。
(従来の技術) 従来、合成樹脂を混合させた木質板に、同じく合成樹脂
からなる取付部品を取り付ける時は、第2図に示すよう
にまず、固定台1に配された超音波ホーン2の上に溶着
を良好にするための突起3を有する取付部品4が載置さ
れる。その次に、取付部品4の上に木質板5が載置さ
れ、可動板6に超音波ホーン2に対向して取り付けられ
た挟持治具7が、空気圧シリンダ8の下降動作によつて
取付部品4の箇所を押えつける。その後、超音波ホーン
2によつて超音波振動を与えて取付部品4を木質板5に
溶着している。
(発明が解決しようとする問題点) しかしながら、上記による部品の取付方法では、超音波
ホーン2によつて取付部品4側から超音波振動を与える
と、この振動は溶着箇所に集中する。即ち突起3の箇所
に集中するので、燃焼温度の低い木質が第3図に示すよ
うに「焼け」5aが発生して品質不良を生ずる。
そこで、本発明は、上記問題点を解決するためになされ
たものであつて、取付部品を木質板に当接させて木質板
の反対側から超音波振動を与えることよつて、「焼け」
を防止できる超音波による木質への部品取付方法を提供
することを目的とする。
(問題点を解決するための手段) 上記目的を達成するための本発明の特徴は、合成樹脂か
らなる取付部品に合成樹脂を混合した木質板の一側面を
当接し、次いで、該木質板の他側面から超音波振動を与
えたことである。
(作 用) 上記超音波による木質板の部品取付方法によつて超音波
振動は、取付部品の位置で木質板面上の周辺に伝播し、
木質板が焼けることはない。
(実施例) 以下に本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。ま
ず、第1図は、本発明の超音波による木質板への部品取
付方法を実行するための超音波溶着装置9である。この
超音波溶着装置9は、第2図に基づいて従来の技術の項
で、すでに説明した装置と同じ構成を有するので、その
箇所は同じ符号を付しその詳細な説明は省略する。第1
図の超音波溶着装置9は、第2図の従来の装置と比較し
て超音波ホーン2の位置が上下逆になつていることであ
る。
次に、超音波による木質板の部品取付方法を第1図に基
づいて説明する。ここで使用する木質板5は、細かく砕
かれた木質繊維に合成樹脂のような結合剤を添加し、こ
れを熱圧成形等によつて圧縮成形されたものである。使
用される合成樹脂は熱可塑性または熱硬化性の樹脂であ
る。一方、取付部品4は、ABS樹脂からなり、あらか
じめ突起3と共に成形されたものである。この例では、
自動車用の成形ドアトリム用木質板5を金属ドアパネル
に固定するために木質板5に台座として使用する取付部
品4を取り付ける方法を示すものである。
その工程は、まず、取付部品4を挾持治具7に突起3を
上に向けて載置し、その後、木質板5が各取付部品4…
の上に載置される。そして、空気圧シリンダ8が作動し
て超音波ホーン2が下降し、木質板5に当接した後、超
音波ホーン2から超音波振動が与えられる。この超音波
振動は、取付部品4の反対側の位置で木質板5の面の周
辺に伝播して、木質板5の木質が焼けるほど熱エネルギ
は集中しないので焼けることはない。このことから取付
部品4の各突起3…は、木質板5に嵌まり込むようにな
つて取付部品4は木質板5に溶着される。
なお、取付部品4を挾持治具7に載置するとき、また木
質板5を載置するときは、人手によつてでもよいし、自
動化によつてでもよい。
(発明の効果) 以上述べたことから本発明の超音波による木質板への部
品取付方法では、取付部品を木質板に取り付けるために
木質板の反対側から超音波振動を与えて互いに溶着する
ことによつて、熱エネルギの集中を避けることができる
ので、従来のような「焼け」が防止でき、品質が向上し
た。

    合した木質板の一側面を当接し、次いで該木質板の他側
    面から超音波振動を与えたことを特徴とする超音波によ
