本発明のカプセルは、その中に異なる医薬を収納するた
めに、各々のカプセルの内部に2つまたはそれ以上の分
離しえない区画を有することを特徴としている。
単独または分割可能な、区画で仕切られたカプセルは、
単位投与量またはパッケージとして同時に成形すること
ができる。
先行技術の医薬用の硬カプセルは、軸線方向に接合しう
る円筒形のキャップおよびボディ部分によって形成され
た、1つの充填区画のみを有する一単位からなってい
る。先行技術による浸漬成形方法による製造上の制約の
ために、先行技術によるカプセルは、カプセル内部に2
つ以上の区画を設けることができない。
本発明によれば、医薬が互いに反応しあって不適当な製
品を生ずる可能性があるために、錠剤または従来技術の
カプセル中で組み合わせることができないような2種ま
たはそれ以上の異なる医薬を充填することができるカプ
セルを提供することができる。
本発明によれば、患者により飲み込み可能な小単位部分
に分割可能な投与形態のカプセルが提供される。
本発明の硬カプセルは、水の含有量の少ない殿粉または
殿粉誘導体をダイ成形することにより成形することがで
きる。
本発明は、殊にこのようなダイ成形されたカプセル、殊
に射出成形されたカプセルの構造に関するものである。
本発明は、ボディ部分とキャップ部分からなり、前記ボ
ディ部分が前記キャップ部分と接合されたときに、前記
ボディ部分の内部に2つまたはそれ以上の区画を形成す
るように、ボディ部分の内部に一体に成形された1つま
たはそれ以上の内部仕切壁を有している硬カプセルであ
って、前記硬カプセルが、5〜25重量%の水分(殿粉組
成物に対して計算)を有する殿粉または殿粉組成物から
射出成形により製造されたものであることを特徴とす
る、区画で仕切られた投与形態の硬カプセルを提供す
る。
本発明は、ボディ部分同士及び/又はキャップ部分同士
が互に連結されて複数個のカプセルのパッケージを形成
している場合、前記連結部が前記カプセルと共に成形さ
れ、前記連結部がカプセルを特に医薬投与時に個々のカ
プセルに分離するように破断可能であることを特徴とす
るパッケージ形態の硬カプセルを提供する。
ダイ成形例えば射出成形においては、成形される材料が
成形プロセス中で熱可塑性を示し、かつ成形材料を迅速
に射出することができ、その寸法を変化しないで成形型
の中で迅速に硬化することが肝要である。非常に多数の
ダイ加圧成形品の精度が非常に狭い限度以内に保たれな
ければならないので、後者は重要な要件である。
本発明の硬カプセルは、ボディ部分及びキャップ部分が
共に5〜25重量%の水分(殿粉組成物に対して計算)を
有する殿粉または殿粉組成物から射出成形により形成さ
れることを特徴とする。
殿粉は、トウモロコシ、小麦、ジャガイモ、米およびタ
ピオカから製造された成形可能な殿粉組成物である。
殿粉は、約0〜100%のアミロースおよび約100〜0%の
アミローペクチンを含有し、そして約0〜70%のアミロ
ースおよび約100〜30%のアミロペクチンを含有するこ
とが好ましく、そしてジャガイモ殿粉およびタピオカ殿
粉を含有していることが最も好ましい。
下記の説明において「殿粉」という用語が使用される場
合、この用語は殿粉の発泡体、変型または誘導体と、意
図されたダイ成形されたカプセルのために容認しうる性
質を有するその他の重合体組成物と殿粉の発泡体、変型
または誘導体との混合物をも包含している。
殿粉は、5〜25%、好ましくは15〜22%、そして特に好
ましくは17〜20%の水分を含んでいる。
この殿粉は、欧州特許第92908号明細書に記載された種
々の添加剤、例えば、可塑剤、潤滑剤、架橋剤および/
または着色剤ならびにエキステンダーを含有することが
できる。
殿粉の成形温度は80〜240℃であり、成形圧力は600〜3,
000×105N/m2である。
水を含有し、かつ自由選択によりさらに添加剤を含有す
る殿粉は、上記の温度および圧力の下で特開昭59-19633
5号公報に記載の方法により溶融物を生成するので、よ
く知られている態様で、そしてよく知られている成形装
置の中で溶融させられる。
当業者はダイ成形、すなわち、プロフィル押出成形、圧
縮成形、真空成形、熱成形、押出成形、真空成形と組み
合わせた重合体成型により加工することができる。しか
しながら、射出成形が好ましい。
本発明の利点は、添付図面を参照して以下の詳細な説明
を読めば明らかとなろう。
区画で仕切られたカプセルは、異なった医薬のための2
つまたはそれ以上の区画を有している。このカプセルは
区画部分で破断することはできないが、同時にのみ込む
ために2種類またはそれ以上の種類の異なる医薬を充填
することができる。ダイ形成技術の一つの利点は、区画
の数を2つに限定しないで、適用分野に必要な数とする
ことができることである。
第一グループは、キャップ部分と区画で仕切られたボデ
ィ部分とからなる投与形態の硬カプセルであって、前記
ボディ部分が前記キャップ部分と接合された時に、ボデ
ィ部分の内部に特に医薬のための2個またはそれ以上の
区画を形成するように、ボディ内部に一体に成形された
1つまたはそれ以上の内部仕切壁が、開口端部に垂直に
形成されていることを特徴とする硬カプセルである。
第1図は、キャップ2とボディ開口端部に垂直な内部仕
切壁5により分離された2つの区画を有するボディ1と
を有する。区画で仕切られたカプセルの分解斜視図であ
る。区画の各々には異なる医薬を収納することができ
る。第2図は、第1図の区画で仕切られたカプセルを閉
ざして18−18線に沿って裁った断面図であり、区画11お
よび12の中に異なる医薬が完全に分離されて充填されて
いる状態を示している。
第2のグループは、前記ボディ部分が管状であり、内部
に軸線に垂直でしかも対向した開口端部に平行である内
部仕切壁を備え、前記対向した開口端部の各々が医薬を
収納する区画を形成するように、一端が封止されたキャ
ップにより閉ざされていることを特徴としている。
第3図は、開口端部において軸線方向に接合した2個の
キャップ2を示した、本発明の別の実施態様の区画で仕
切られたカプセルの平面図である。
第4図は、開口端部において接合した2個のキャップ2
を示し、第3図における20−20線で裁った断面図であ
る。キャップ2の内部には、一体に成形された仕切壁5
により異なる医薬を収納するための2つの区画11、12に
より分離された円筒形ボディ1が収納されている。区画
11、12の中に異なる医薬を充填した後に、2個のキャッ
プ2の各々は区画11、12の中の医薬を閉じ込めるよう
に、ボディ1の外側で各々の開口端部から入れ子式に接
合される。キャップ2の一方は、治療上の必要条件のた
めに胃の酸性分泌液中で溶解する物質で製造することも
できる。また、他方のキャップ2およびボディ1は腸溶
性物質で製造することもできる。このようにして、1つ
の区画中の医薬は、患者の胃の内部で崩壊させることが
でき、一方他方の区画中の異なる医薬は、患者の腸管内
で崩壊させることができる。また、キャップ2およびボ
ディ1の材料および/または厚さを変えることにより、
各々の区画11、12の崩壊速度を制御することができる。
本発明の別の一つの特徴は、キャップ部分2およびボデ
ィ部分1を第3図および第4図に符号Jで示した接合領
域において平滑面を形成するように接合することができ
ることである。
第3のグループは、前記ボディ部分がブリスターシート
により形成されて互に連結された複数個のボディ部分か
らなり、キャップ部分が熱および圧力を加えることによ
りシールされるカバーシートからなることを特徴として
いる。
カプセルパッケージは、使用するときに各小単位部分を
破断することができるように連結された2個またはそれ
以上のカプセルからなっている。カプセルパッケージは
全体をのみ込むように意図されておらず、例えば各小単
位部分を定期的にのみ込まなければならない場合に便利
な貯蔵形態を提供することを意図したものである。従っ
て、相互に連結された小単位部分の数は、限定されな
い。カプセルパッケージはグループ1の2つの区画で仕
切られたカプセルを、一括パックするために使用するこ
とができる。
この実施態様は、複数個の連結されたカプセルを有する
投与形態の硬カプセルパッケージであり、前記カプセル
が相互の連結部を有し、前記連結部が前記カプセルと一
体に成形され、かつ前記連結部は特に医薬の投与時に個
々のカプセルに分離するように破断可能であることを特
徴とする硬カプセルパッケージである。
第5図および第6図には、各々の区画11、12が内部に異
なる医薬を収納するための小単位部分17、18、19、20
に、それぞれさらに区分されているカプセルブリスター
パッケージを示している。
本発明のすべてのカプセルの実施態様は、カプセル材料
が可塑化装置の中で溶解され、次いで成形型の中に射出
される射出成形機により製造することができる。成形型
が開かれたときに、成形部品が放出される。本発明のカ
プセルを製造するために、フィルムキヤスチング、射出
成形、圧縮成形、吹出成形、深絞り成形法およびその他
のダイ成形技術もまた使用することができる。
本発明はまた、接合されたカプセルをシールまたは結合
することにより、ボディとキャップの分離および不正操
作をさらに阻止し、かつカプセルを液密、蒸気密および
気密にする付加的な固定が得られる。
本発明により製造されたカプセルは、医薬を投与する目
的ならびに色素、化学薬品、香辛料、植物用の肥料の組
合わせ、保護物質を含む肥料、種子、化粧品、農薬等の
正確な量を投与するために使用することができる。
この明細書に開示した事項が本発明を例示する目的のた
めのみであり、かつ本発明が特許請求の範囲内に該当す
るすべての成型および同等の変更を包含していることを
理解すべきである。
【図面の簡単な説明】
第1図は、キャップ部分と、仕切壁により分離された2
画の区画を有するボディ部分とを有する、区画で仕切ら
れたカプセルの分離斜視図である。第2図は、閉ざされ
た状態の第1図の区画で仕切られたカプセルを18−18線
に沿って裁った断面図である。第3図は、2個のキャッ
プが開口端部において結合した、本発明の区画で仕切ら
れたカプセルの別の態様を示した図である。第4図は、
2個のキャップが開口端部において結合した第3図のカ
プセルを20−20線で裁った断面図である。第5図および
第6図は、カプセルブリスターパッケージの実施態様を

Claims (4)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】ボディ部分とキャップ部分とからなり、前
    記ボディ部分が前記キャップ部分と接合されたときに、
    前記ボディ部分の内部に2つまたはそれ以上の区画を形
    成するように、ボディ部分の内部に一体に成形された1
    個またはそれ以上の内部仕切壁を有している硬カプセル
    であって、前記硬カプセルが、5〜25重量%の水分(殿
    粉組成物に対して計算)を有する殿粉または殿粉組成物
    から射出成形により製造されたものであることを特徴と
    する区画で仕切られた投与形態の硬カプセル。
  2. 【請求項2】前記ボディ部分の内部仕切壁が、開口端部
    に垂直である特許請求の範囲第1項に記載の硬カプセ
    ル。
  3. 【請求項3】前記ボディ部分が管状であり、内部に軸線
    に垂直でかつ対向した開口端部に平行である内部仕切壁
    を備え、前記対向した開口端部の各々が一端が封止され
    たキャップ部分で閉ざされることにより、カプセル内部
    に区画を形成している特許請求の範囲第1項に記載の硬
    カプセル。
  4. 【請求項4】前記ボディ部分がブリスターシートにより
    形成されて互に連結された複数個のボディ部分からな
    り、キャップ部分が前記ボディ部分の開口端部をシール
    するカバーシートからなる特許請求の範囲第2項に記載
    の硬カプセル。
