Abstract
Description
Claims (19)
- 1.次の構成要素から成り、受容部材に係合するに過したネジ部品:(a)前記 受容部材上の相補的支持面と隣接関係に置かれるに適した係合面; (b)前記係合面に近接するネジ部分:及び(c)前記ネジ部分と前記係合面の 共通部分で前記部品に直接接着する柔らかい、柔軟な密封材であって、前記接着 により、前記部品が前記受容部材に取付、螺合されるとき、前記受容部材と前記 係合面及びネジ部分間の空隙を密封するため、前記係合面を越えて流動するもの 。
- 2.前記密封材がオレフィン材料である請求項1に記載するネジ部品。
- 3.前記密封材がポリオレフィン材料である請求項1に記載するネジ部品。
- 4.前記密封材が約0.95と約1.2の間の比重を有する熱可塑樹脂である請 求項1に記載するネジ部品。
- 5.前記密封材が少なくとも一種の微細粉末化オレフィン又はポリオレフィン被 覆材料である請求項1に記数するネジ部品。
- 6.前記密封材が熱によって前記部品に結合する請求項1に記載するネジ部品。
- 7.一体シールを有するネジ部品を製作する方法であって、次の工程から成るも の: (a)被覆のため露出された係合面とネジ部分を有する前記ネジ部品を支持する ; (b)前記ネジ部品の少なくとも係合面及びネジ部分を加熱する;(c)密封材 を、前記ネジ部分と前記係合面との共通部分に近接する前記露出の領域において 、前記ネジ部品に付与するに於いて、前記密封材が前記ネジ部品の前記ネジ部と 前記係合面との共有部分に近接する前記露出部分に溶着するようにする:及び (d)前記密封材を使用前に硬化する。
- 8.前記付与工程が前記密封材を加熱ネジ部品に吹き付ける工程から成り、更に 低圧力領域を設けて過剰密封材を離脱する工程を含む請求項7に記載する方法。
- 9.加熱工程が前記ネジ部品の少なくとも係合面とネジ部分を約450Fと約5 25°Fの間の温度に加熱する工程から成る請求項7に記載する方法。
- 10.前記密封材がオレフィン系材料である請求項7に記載する方法。
- 11.前記密封材がポリオレフィン系材料である請求項7に記載する方法。
- 12.前記密封材が約0.95及び1.2の間の比重を有する請求項7に記載す る方法。
- 13.前記密封材が微細粉末化オレフィン及びポリオレフィン被覆材料の少なく とも一種である請求項7に記載する方法。
- 14.一体密封材を有し、雌型栓受に受容されるに適した雄ネジ部品であって、 次の構成要素から成るもの: (a)雌型栓受上の対応する支持面と隣接関係に固定されるに適したラジアル・ ベアリング面を有するヘッド;(b)前記ラジアル・ベアリング面と交差し、そ れより外側に突出する雄型ネジ・シャンク; (c)前記シャンクとラジアル・ベアリング面の共通部分で前記ネジ部品に直接 接着する柔らかい、柔軟な密封材であって、前記接着により、前記ネジ部品が前 記雌型栓受に受容され、これと螺合するとき、該雌型栓受と前記ラジアル・ベア リング面及び前記シャンク間の空隙を密閉するため、前記ラジアル・ベアリング 面を越えて流動するに適したもの。
- 15.前記密封材は密封材は、微細粉末化オレフィン及びポリオレフィン系材料 の少なくとも一方である請求項14に記載するネジ部品。
- 16.前記密封材が熱によって前記ネジ部品に結合される請求項14に記載する ネジ部品。
- 17.一体シールを有するネジ部品を製作する方法であって、次の工程から成る もの: (a)露出されたベアリング面及びネジ山のあるシャンクを有する前記ネジ部品 を支持する工程; (b)前記ネジ部品の前記露出ベアリング面及び前記ネジ山のあるシャンクを、 前記ネジ部品に付与すべき密封材の融点以上の温度に加熱する工程; (c)粉末化密封材を、前記シャンクと前記ベアリング面の共通部分に近接する 前記露出する領域に於いて、直接ネジ部品に吹き付けるに当たり、前記密封材は 、前記ネジ部品上の一体シール要素を形成するため、前記ネジ部品の前記シャン クとベアリング面の共通部分に近接する前記露出部分で溶融する工程; (d)ネジ部品に付与されない過剰粉末化密封材を離脱せしめる工程;及び (e)使用前に密封材を硬化せしめる工程。
- 18.加熱する工程が少なくとも前記露出したベアリング面とネジ山のあるシャ ンクを約450°Fと約525°Fの間の温度に加熱することを含む請求項17 に記載する方法。
- 19.係合する部材を受容するに適したネジ部品であって、次の要素から成るも の: (a)前記係合部材上の相補的ベアリング面と隣接関係に置かれるのに適した係 合面; (b)前記係合面に近接し、それと交差するネジ部分;(c)前記ネジ部分と係 合面の共通部分で、前記ネジ部品に直接結合する柔らかい、柔軟な密封材であっ て、前記結合により、前記ネジ部品が前記係合部材に受容され、これと螺合する とき、前記係合部材と前記ネジ部分と前記係合面の間の空隙を密閉するため、前 記係合面を越えて流動するものであり、前記係合部材と前記ネジ部材と前記係合 面の間に水密なシールを提供するもの。
