Claims (24)
- 1.結合組織代替物として使用するための組織移植片構造物であって、温血脊椎 動物の腸組織のセグメントから形成され、該セグメントは粘膜下組織層と、筋粘 膜と粘膜層の緻密層とから成り、該粘膜下組織層、筋粘膜及び緻密層は該腸組織 セグメントの筋層、及び粘膜層の内腔部分から離層されたものであり、該移植片 構造物は中間部分と両端部分とを有し、該両端部分は既存の骨靭帯又は腱構造と 結合するように形成された組織移植片構造物。
- 2.元の腸組織セグメントより長く伸ばすことによって調整された請求の範囲第 1項記載の移植片構造物。
- 3.元の腸組織セグメントより約10ないし約20%長くなるように伸ばすこと によって調整された請求の範囲第1項記載の移植片構造物。
- 4.既存構造に移植片が結合する部分にセグメントの複数層が存在するように、 セグメントの両端部分を形成する請求の範囲第1項記載の移植片構造物。
- 5.前記セグメントが折り返して重ねられ、前記両端部分が一つになって第一の 構造に付着するための第一結合部分をなし、前記中間部分の折曲部分が該第一の 骨に関節でつながる第二の骨に付着するための第二結合部分をなす請求の範囲第 1項記載の移植片構造物。
- 6.前記両端部分の一方が大腿骨のトンネルを通って引っ張られたうえ該大腿骨 に結合し、該両端部分の他方は脛骨トンネルを通って引っ張られて該脛骨に結合 することにより、天然十字靭帯の代替物となり、前記セグメントはトンネル間で 張力下に置かれ、靭帯機能をもたらす請求の範囲第1項記載の移植片構造物。
- 7.前記両端部分の一方が第一骨に結合し、該両端部分の他方が第一骨と関節で つながる第二骨と結合して、前記セグメントは該第一及び第二骨間で張力下に置 かれ、靭帯機能をもたらす請求の範囲第1項記載の移植片構造物。
- 8.骨、靭帯、腱、筋肉及び軟骨から成る群から選択された損傷又は疾患組織の 自己再成長及び治癒を促進する方法であって、組織移植片の結合によって該組織 を外科的に修復する工程から成り、該移植片は温血脊椎動物の腸組織セグメント から形成され、該セグメントは粘膜下組織層と、筋粘膜と粘膜層の緻密層とから 成り、該粘膜下組織層、筋粘膜及び緻密層は該腸組織セグメントの筋層と粘膜層 の内腔部分とから離層される、方法。
- 9.全身の靭帯及び腱の部位に結合組織代替物として使用される整形外科用移植 片であって、該移植片は温血脊椎動物の腸組織セグメントから形成され、該セグ メントは粘膜下組織層と、筋粘膜と粘膜層の緻密層とから成り、該粘膜下組織層 、筋粘膜及び緻密層は該腸組織セグメントの筋層と粘膜層の内腔部分とから離層 され、該セグメントは両端部分で終わる層状中間部分をもつように形成され、該 両端部分は骨、腱又は靭帯と結合するように形成される、整形外科用移植片。
- 10.元の腸組織セグメントより長くなるように伸長することによって調整した 請求の範囲第9項記載の移植片。
- 11.元の腸セグメントより約10ないし約20%長くなるように伸長すること によって調整した請求の範囲第9項記載の移植片。
- 12.前記セグメントを切り、平らにして、ほぼ平行する両側部と両端部を有す る腸の縦方向に延びた長いシートを形成し、該シートは長手方向に対してほぼ垂 直のほぼ円筒軸の周囲に巻かれ、前記中間部分が腱又は靭帯を包囲するとともに 、該両側部は前記両端部分となり、該包囲された腱又は靭帯の、破断又は裂け目 の両端に結合する請求の範囲第9項記載の移植片。
- 13.前記シートの複数層が靭帯又は腱を包囲するように該シートが巻き付けら れる請求の範囲第12項記載の移植片。
- 14.骨折した骨を保持し、体の正しい位置に保つための結合組織として使用す る整形外科用移植片であって、該移植片は温血脊椎動物の腸組織セグメントから 形成され、該セグメントは粘膜下組織層と、筋粘膜と粘膜層の緻密層とから成り 、該粘腹下組織層、筋粘膜及び緻密層は該腸組織セグメントの筋層と粘膜層の内 腔部分とから離層され、該セグメントが骨の骨折部分を包む骨折用ラップとなる ように形成されて該骨に付着される、整形外科用移植片。
- 15.前記移植片が少なくとも2つの前記セグメントで形成され、一方のセグメ ントを他方のセグメントの中に挿入し、隣接する端部を合体して二重壁管状構造 を形成する請求の範囲第1項記載の移植片。
- 16.前記中間部分が前記粘膜下組織層、筋粘膜及び緻密層の複数層から成り、 非常に大きい引張強さをもたらす請求の範囲第9項記載の移植片。
- 17.骨、靭帯、腱、軟骨及び筋肉から成る群から選択される第一及び第二の生 理学的構造を結合する、疾患又は損傷した内性組織の外科的修復法であって、該 方法は、温血脊椎動物の腸組織セグメントの粘膜下組織層と、筋粘膜と緻密層と から成る組織移植片材料の両端又は両側方部分に該第一及び第二構造を結合させ る工程から成り、該粘膜下組織層、筋粘膜及び緻密層は該腸組織の筋層と、粘膜 層の内腔部分とから離層されてなる、方法。
- 18.腸移植片材料を折りたたみ、巻き付け、又は裏返すことによって、該移植 片材料の少なくとも両端部分又は両側方部分に該移植片材料を複数層存在させる ことにより、前記生理学的構造への結合が強化される請求の範囲第17項記載の 方法。
- 19.少なくとも一方向の寸法を伸長することによって移植片材料を調整する請 求の範囲第17項記載の方法。
- 20.移植片材料が、元の腸セグメントより約10ないし約20%長くなるよう に伸張されて調整された請求の範囲第17項記載の方法。
- 21.腸組織セグメントから形成される組織移植片材料であって、該移植片材料 は粘膜下組織層と、筋粘膜と粘膜層の緻密層とから成り、該粘膜下組織層、筋粘 膜及び緻密層は該腸組織セグメントの筋層と、粘膜層の内腔部分とから離層され 、該移植片材料は最初は腸組織セグメントの長さと一致する長手方向寸法と、腸 組織セグメントの直径に比例する横寸法をもち、該組織移植片材料は長手方向に 伸ばされて元の腸組織セグメントより長くされた、組織移植片材料。
- 22.元の腸組織セグメントより約10ないし約20%長い長さまで伸長した請 求の範囲第21項記載の組織移植片材料。
- 23.前記組織移植片材料が横方向にも伸ばされる請求の範囲第21項記載の組 織移植片材料。
- 24.当初のままの第一の長さをもつ粘弾性コラーゲン基質から成り、該コラー ゲン基質材料を該第一の長さより長い第二の長さにまで伸ばすことによって移植 のために調整してなる、結合組織置換又は修復のための組織移植片。
