Description
Claims (14)
- 1.信号電力における変動に影響されやすい入力信号を受け、制御信号を受け、 前記制御信号によって決められた利得レベルにおいて前記入力信号を受け、対応 する出力信号を与える増幅手段と、 前記増幅された入力信号の対数信号電力の測定のための前記増幅器に接続され、 対応する線形測定信号を与える測定手段と、 前記測定信号を受け、前記出力信号の希望信号電力に対応する基準信号を受け、 前記測定信号と前記基準信号の間を時間積分し、前記積分の結果に対応する前記 制御信号を与える積分手段とを備えていることを特徴とする閉ループ自動利得制 御(AGC)回路。
- 2.前記増幅手段は、前記制御信号を受け、あらかじめ決められた補償指標に一 致する対応補償信号を発生する補償手段と、 入力信号と前記補償信号を受け、前記補償信号によって決められた入力利得レベ ルにおける前記入力信号を増幅し、対応入力増幅手段出力信号を与える入力増幅 手段と、前記入力増幅手段出力信号を受け、ろ波するフィルタ手段と、 ろ波された前記入力増幅手段出力信号と補償信号とを受け、前記補償寝具によっ て決められた出力利得レベルにおいて前記ろ波された入力増幅手段出力信号を増 幅し、対応する出力増幅手段出力信号を与える出力増幅手段とを備えたことを特 徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 3.前記測定手段は受信信号強度表示回路をからなることを特徴とする請求項1 に記載の回路。
- 4.前記積分手段は、前記測定信号を受け非反転入力するもの及び前記基準信号 を受け反転入力するものと、出力と有するオペアンプと、 前記オペアンプの出力と前記反転入力との間に接続された容量性フィードバック ネットワークとからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 5.信号入力と、利得制御入力と、出力と、入力信号を受けられる第1の増幅器 信号入力を有する第1の増幅器と、入力と、出力と、前記第1の増幅器の出力に 接続されたフィルタ入力とを有するフィルタと、 信号入力と、利得制御入力と、出力と、前記フィルタの出力に接続された第1の 増幅器信号入力とを有する第2の増幅器と、 前記第2の増幅器出力に接続された入力と、出力とを有する受信信号強度インジ ケータと、 1組の入力と、出力と、基準信号を受けられる前記積分器入力の1つと、前記受 信信号強度インジケータに接続された前記積分器入力の他の1つとを有する積分 器と、前記積分器出力に接続された入力と、前記第1と第2の増幅器利得制御入 力に接続された出力を有する補償回路とを備えていることを特徴とする閉ループ 自動利得制御(AGC)回路。
- 6.前記第1と第2の増幅器は前記第1と第2の増幅器利得制御入力における前 記補償回路によって与えられた補償された利得制御信号によって決められた可変 利得増幅器であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の回路。
- 7.前記補償回路は基準電圧を受けて非反転する入力と、前記積分器によって与 えられた非補償利得制御信号を受けて反転する入力と、出力とを有するオペアン プと、前記オペアンプ出力と前記積分器との間に接続された非線形フィードバッ クネットワークとを備えていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の回路。
- 8.前記積分器は前記受信信号強度インジケータによって与えられた測定信号を 受けて非反転する入力と、前記基準信号を受けて反転する入力と、出力とを有す るオペアンプと、前記オペアンプの出力と前記積分器の入力との間に接続された 容量性フィードバックネットワークとから構成されていることを特徴とする請求 項5に記載の回路。
- 9.前記受信信号強度インジケータは前記第2の増幅器からの入力信号を受け、 前記入力信号の対数パワーを測定し、対応する対応する線形非補償利得制御信号 を与える測定手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の回路。
- 10.前記受信信号強度インジケータは、前記入力信号の周波数をより低い周波 数にトランスレートする周波数変換手段と、 前記入力信号の希望しない周波数成分をろ波するフィルタ手段と、 あらかじめ設定した利得における前記入力信号を増幅するための増幅手段とを備 えていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の回路。
- 11.制御信号によって決められた利得において入力信号を増幅し、前記増幅さ れた入力信号に体操する出力信号を与え、前記出力信号の対数信号電力を測定し 、測定された前記出力信号の信号電力に対応する測定信号を与え、前記測定信号 と基準信号との間を時間積分し、そして、前記測定信号と基準信号の差の積分の 結果に対応する制御信号を与えるステップであることを特徴とする高ダイナミッ クレンジの閉ループ自動利得制御を与える方法。
- 12.補償ステップはあらかじめ決められた補償指標に前記制御信号を一致させ ることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 13.前記入力信号の増幅するの前記ステップは、前記入力信号を受け、前記補 償された制御信号によって決められた第1の利得レベルにおいて増幅し、入力信 号を増幅した前記第1の利得レベルに対応した第1の増幅信号に与え、前記第1 の増幅された信号をフィルタし、そして、前記補償制御信号によって前記出力信 号を発生するように決められた第2の利得レベルにおいて前記ろ波された増幅信 号を増幅するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 14.前記ろ波するステップは前記第1の増幅された信号をバンドパスろ波する ことを含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。
