Claims (10)
- 1.ケイ素対チタンもしくは錫のモル比が1:4から1.9:1であることを特 徴としそして1グラム当たり約0.03から約0.25立方センチメートルの脱 離細孔容積を有することを特徴とする、ケイ酸チタン類およびケイ酸錫類から成 る群から選択される非晶質ゲルに、1種以上の重金属と共にカルシウムおよび/ またはマグネシウムの如き競合イオンを含んでいる水溶液を、上記重金属類が上 記水溶液から本質的に除去されるまで接触させることを含む、水溶液から重金属 類を除去する方法。
- 2.上記非晶質ゲルがケイ酸チタンである請求の範囲1の方法。
- 3.上記非晶質ゲルがケイ酸錫である請求の範囲1の方法。
- 4.上記重金属類が鉛、カドミウム、亜鉛、クロム、ひ素および水銀から成る群 から選択される請求の範囲2の方法。
- 5.上記重金属類が鉛、カドミウム、亜鉛、クロム、ひ素および水銀から成る群 から選択される請求の範囲3の方法。
- 6.0.5から0.14モルの濃度を有するケイ酸ナトリウム溶液とチタンもし くは錫塩の0.3−3.5モル溶液とを、約4から9のpHで反応させることで 非晶質ゲルを生じさせ、上記ゲルを熟成し、洗浄した後、これを乾燥することに よって製造した非晶質のケイ酸チタンもしくはケイ酸錫ゲルに、1種以上の重金 属と共にカルシウムおよび/またはマグネシウムの如き競合イオンを含んでいる 水溶液を接触させ、そして上記重金属水溶液との上記接触を、上記重金属類が上 記水溶液から本質的に除去されるまで継続することを含む、水溶液から重金属類 を除去する方法。
- 7.該pHが7から8である請求の範囲6の方法。
- 8.該ゲルを約24時間から96時間を越えない時間まで熟成する請求の範囲7 の方法。
- 9.上記非晶質ゲルがケイ酸チタンである請求の範囲8の方法。
- 10.上記非晶質ゲルがケイ酸錫である請求の範囲8の方法。
