Abstract
Description
Claims (24)
- 1.亜鉛を含む二価金属化合物; 多水酸基化合物;および 触媒; を準備し; 実質的に化学量論的な量で上記二価金属化合物と多水酸基化合物を触媒の存在下 、反応が生じるのに充分な温度で混合し;生成された重合物質を単離する; 工程から成る含亜鉛重合物質の製造方法。
- 2.反応温度が約120℃から180℃である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 3.二価金属化合が酸化亜鉛、炭酸亜鉛、水酸化亜鉛、酢酸亜鉛、安息香酸亜鉛 および硫化亜鉛から1つまたは複数選択され、所望により、酸化カルシウム、炭 酸カルシウム、水酸化カルシウム、酢酸カルシウム、安息香酸カルシウムから1 つまたは複数選択されるカルシウム化合物を共に用いる請求項2に記載の方法。
- 4.多水酸基化合物が有機ジオールまたは有機トリオールから選択される請求項 3に記載の方法。
- 5.多水酸基化合物がグリセロールまたはプロパントリオールである請求項4に 記載の方法。
- 6.触媒が酸また酸性塩から選択される請求項5に記載の方法。
- 7.触媒がギ酸、酢酸、プロピオン酸、酪酸、ナフテン酸、ネオデカン酸、安息 香酸、カプロン酸、くえん酸、乳酸、蓚酸、サリチル酸、ステアリン酸、酒石酸 、吉草酸、ホウ酸、トリフルオロ酢酸およびトルエン4−スルホン酸などから選 択される請求項6に記載の方法。
- 8.一価アルコール、エーテル、エステル、グリコール、ポリオキソエーテル若 しくはエステル、スルフォキシド、アミド、炭化水素、および部分的若しくは完 全に塩素化若しくはフッ素化された炭化水素から選択される一種またはそれ以上 のスラリー媒質を準備し;そして 二価金属化合物、多水酸基化合物および触媒をスラリー媒質と共に混合して反応 前にスラリーを生成する; 工程を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 9.含亜鉛重合物質の粒度を約25ミクロンより小さくするサイズ縮小工程を含 む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 10.重合物質にミルによる粉砕を施す請求項9に記載の方法。
- 11.少なくとも1つのポリマー;および約25ミクロン未満の粒度を有する含 亜鉛重合物質を有効量含むポリマー組成物。
- 12.含亜鉛重合物質の80%以上の粒子が約12.5ミクロン以下である請求 項11に記載のポリマー組成物。
- 13.ポリマー組成物の全重量に対しておよそ80から99.99重量パーセン トの割合の有機ポリマー;および 全重量中、およそ0.01から20重量パーセントの割合の、少なくとも80% の粒子が約12.5ミクロン以下である亜鉛グリセロレートまたは亜鉛プロパン トリオレート; を含むポリマー組成物。
- 14.有機ポリマーが、芳香族若しくは脂肪族ポリオレフィンのホモポリマー若 しくはコポリマー、ビニルポリマー、アクリルポリマー、ポリエステル、ポリア ミドまたはゴムから選択される請求項13に記載のポリマー組成物。
- 15.有機ポリマーがポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリス チレン、ポリアクリルアミド、ポリエステル、ポリアミドまたはポリ(アクリロ ニトリループタジエン−スチレン)から1つまた複数選択される請求項14に記 載のポリマー組成物。
- 16.少なくとも1つのポリマー;および約25ミクロン未満の粒度を有する含 亜鉛重合物質を有効量含むポリマー組成物から生成されるポリマー物品。
- 17.抗菌性が増加し、かつ水性環境において可溶な、フィルムおよび繊維の形 態を持った請求項16に記載のポリマー物品。
- 18.ポリマー組成物の全重量に対しておよそ80から99.99重量パーセン トの割合の有機ポリマー;および 全重量中、およそ0.01から20重量パーセントの割合の、少なくとも80% の粒子が約12.5ミクロン以下である亜鉛グリセロレートまたは亜鉛プロパン トリオレート; を含むポリマー組成物から生成されるポリマー物品。
- 19.元の有機ポリマーと比較して剛性および結晶化温度が少なくとも約10% 上昇している請求項18に記載のポリマー物品。
- 20.少なくとも1つの有機ポリマー;および約25ミクロン未満の粒度を有す る含亜鉛重合物質を有効量準備し、 上記有機ポリマーと含亜鉛重合物質を混合し;そして含亜鉛重合物質が成核剤ま たは硬化剤として機能するように上昇させた温度でポリマー混合物を任意の形に 形成する;工程から成るポリマー物品の製造方法。
- 21.ポリマー組成物の全重量に対しておよそ80から99.99重量パーセン トの割合の有機ポリマー;および 全重量中、およそ0.01から20重量パーセントの割合の、少なくとも80% の粒子が約12.5ミクロン以下である亜鉛グリセロレートまたは亜鉛プロパン トリオレート を準備する過程を含む請求項20に記載の方法。
- 22.ポリマー物品を押し出し成形、注入式成形法またはカレンダー加工によっ て生成する請求項21に記載の方法。
- 23.実施例として具体的に記載されている請求項1に記載の方法。
- 24.実施例として具体的に記載されている請求項16に記載のポリマー物品。
