Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.触媒系及び酢酸の存在下に、一酸化炭素をヨウ化メチル並びに酢酸メチル及 び/又はジメチルエーテルを含む混合物と接触させることによって無水酢酸を製 造する製造系からアセトンを除去するにあたり、 (1)該製造系から、酢酸メチル、ヨウ化メチル、酢酸及びアセトンを含む低沸 点流を得; (2)工程(1)の流れを蒸留して (a)酢酸メチル、ヨウ化メチル及びアセトンを含むオーバーヘッド流;並びに (b)酢酸メチル、アセトン及びほとんど全ての酢酸を含むアンダーフロー流 を得; (3)工程(2)(a)の流れを水で抽出して(a)酢酸メチルを含むヨウ化メ チル相;並びに(b)酢酸メチル、ヨウ化メチル及びアセトンを含む水性相を得 ;そして (4)該水性指を蒸留して (a)酢酸メチル、ヨウ化メチル並びに微少量のアセトン及び水を含んでなる蒸 気相;並びに (b)酢酸メチル及びアセトンを含む水性流を得る ことを含んでなる工程によってアセトンを除去する方法。 2.前記工程(3)及び(4)が: (3)ほとんど酢酸を含まない工程(2)(a)の流れをカラム抽出器の上方部 分に供給し、且つ水圧底部に供給し、そして(a)抽出器の底部から純度が少な くとも90重量%のヨウ化メチルの流れを及び(b)抽出器の上部から酢酸メチ ル、ヨウ化メチル及びアセトンを含む水性相を得;そして (4)工程(3)(b)の水性流を分別蒸留カラムの側部に供給し、そして(a )蒸留カラムの上部から酢酸メチル、ヨウ化メチル並びに微少量のアセトン及び 水を含んでなる蒸気相を及び(b)蒸留カラムの底部から、酢酸メチル:アセト ンの重量比が6を超えない、水、酢酸メチル及びアセトンを含んでなる液体流を 得ることを含んでなる請求の範囲第1項に係る方法。 3.(i)工程(2)(b)及び(3)(a)の流れ並びに工程(4)(a)の 蒸気相を再循還して、工程(1)の低沸点流のヨウ化メチルの少なくとも95重 量%を回収し、且つ(ii)工程(4)(b)の液体流が200ppm未満のヨ ウ素を含む請求の範囲第2項の方法。 4.(i)工程(2)(b)及び(3)(a)の流れ並びに工程(4)(a)の 蒸気相を再循還して、工程(1)の低沸点流のヨウ化メチルの少なくとも98重 量%を回収し、且つ(ii)工程(4)(b)の液体流が100ppm未満のヨ ウ素を含む請求の範囲第2項の方法。 5.前記工程(3)及び(4)が: (3)ほとんど酢酸を含まない工程(2)(a)の流れをカラム抽出器の上方部 分に供給し、且つ水を底部に供給し、そして(a)抽出器の底部から純度が少な くとも90重量%のヨウ化メチルの流れを及び(b)抽出器の上部から酢酸メチ ル、ヨウ化メチル及びアセトンを含む水性相を得;そして (4)工程(3)(b)の水性相を抽出蒸留カラムの側部に供給し、水を含んで なる液体相の少なくとも一部分を蒸留カラムの底部から蒸留カラムの側部の、工 程(3)(b)の水性相の供給より上の場所に再循還し、そして(a)蒸留カラ ムの上部から酢酸メチル、ヨウ化メチル並びに微少量のアセトン及び水を含む蒸 気相を及び(b)蒸留カラムの下方部分から、酢酸メチル:アセトンの重量比が 6を超えない、水、酢酸メチル及びアセトンを含む蒸気流を除去することを含ん でなる請求の範囲第1項に係る方法。 6.(i)工程(2)(b)及び(3)(a)の流れ並びに工程(4)(a)の 蒸気相を再循還して、工程(1)の低沸点流のヨウ化メチルの少なくとも95重 量%を回収し、且つ(ii)工程(4)(b)の蒸気流が200ppm未満のヨ ウ素を含む請求の範囲第5項の方法。 7.(i)工程(2)(b)及び(3)(a)の流れ並びに工程(4)(a)の 蒸気相を再循還して、工程(1)の低沸点流のヨウ化メチルの少なくとも98重 量%を回収し、且つ(ii)工程(4)(b)の蒸気流が100ppm未満のヨ ウ素を含む請求の範囲第5項の方法。
