Abstract
Description
Claims (34)
- 1.ジホスホン酸もしくはポリホスホン酸と還元剤とが、それぞれ金属酸化物の 溶解に関して、相乗効果を発揮する量で存在するところの、任意に腐食防止剤お よびpH調節剤を含有する混合物。
- 2.0.01〜3Mのジホスホン酸もしくはポリホスホン酸と還元剤との混合物 であって、還元剤に対するジホスホン酸もしくはポリホスホン酸のモル比が少な くとも0.5である混合物。
- 3.該モル比が少なくとも5である請求の範囲2の組成物。
- 4.該モル比が少なくとも10である請求の範囲3の組成物。
- 5.還元剤が硫黄ベースの還元剤である請求の範囲2の組成物。
- 6.硫黄ベースの還元剤が、亜硫酸、亜硫酸、亜二チオン酸、ヒドロキシメチル スルフィン酸、ヒドロキシメチルスルホン酸およびそれらの塩である請求の範囲 5の組成物。
- 7.硫黄ベースの還元剤が、ホルムアルデヒドニチオン酸ナトリウムまたはホル ムアルデヒドスルホキシル酸ナトリウムである請求の範囲5の組成物。
- 8.酸がHEDPAであり、還元剤が亜二チオン酸ナトリウムまたはホルムアル デヒドスルホキシル酸ナトリウムである請求の範囲1の組成物。
- 9.還元剤がリンベースの還元剤である請求の範囲2の組成物。
- 10.リンペースの還元剤が、亜リン酸もしくはその塩または次亜リン酸もしく はその塩である請求の範囲9の組成物。
- 11.還元剤がアルデヒドまたはアルデヒドのヒドロキシメチル付加物である請 求の範囲3の組成物。
- 12.アルデヒドまたは付加物が、ホルムアルデヒド、アセトアルデヒド、ヒド ロキシメチルスルフィン酸、ヒドロキシメチルスルホン酸またはそれらの塩、テ トラキス(N,N,N′,N′−ヒドロキシメチル)尿素ならびにテトラキス( ヒドロキシメチルホスホニウム)塩である請求の範囲11の組成物。
- 13.還元剤がその場で発成した発生期水素である請求の範囲1の組成物。
- 14.腐食防止剤、および/または混合物のpHを少なくとも7に上げるのに十 分な量のpH調節剤を含有する請求の範囲1の組成物。
- 15.還元剤がヒドラジンまたはアルキル置換ヒドラジンである請求の範囲2の 組成物。
- 16.ジホスホン酸もしくはポリホスホン酸が、HEDPA、VDPA、DHE PA、メチレンジホスホン酸またはニトロトリス(メチレンホスホン酸)である 請求の範囲1の組成物。
- 17.ジホスホン酸もしくはポリホスホン酸がHEDPAである請求の範囲16 の組成物。
- 18.還元剤が二チオン酸またはヒドロキシメチルスルフィン酸である請求の範 囲16の組成物。
- 19.ジホスホン酸もしくはポリホスホン酸および還元剤を含み、それぞれが金 属酸化物の溶解に関して相乗効果を発揮する量で存在するところの、任意に腐食 防止剤およびpH調節剤を含有する組成物に、金属酸化物を接触させることを含 む金属酸化物を溶解させる方法。
- 20.金属酸化物が、鉄、アクチニドまたはランタニドの酸化物である請求の範 囲19の方法。
- 21.金属酸化物が、クロム、鉛またはマンガンの酸化物である請求の範囲19 の方法。
- 22.金属酸化物が固体基体の表面層である請求の範囲19の方法。
- 23.金属酸化物が酸化鉄であり、固体基体が鉄または鉄含有合金である請求の 範囲19の方法。
- 24.金属酸化物層が放射性物質を含有し、該方法が固体基体の除染に使用され る請求の範囲19の方法。
- 25.金属酸化物が粒状の基体の中に存在し、粒状の基体を洗浄または浸出して 金属酸化物を除去することをさらに含む請求の範囲19の方法。
- 26.金属酸化物が酸化鉄であり、粒状の基体がカオリンまたはシリカである請 求の範囲25の方法。
- 27.粒状の基体が土壤であり、汚染物(contaminates)が放射性 汚染物であり、該方法が放射性汚染物を除去するために使用される請求の範囲2 5の方法。
- 28.金属酸化物と請求の範囲1の組成物との接触を、堆積浸出またはその場で の接触方法によって実施する請求の範囲27の方法。
- 29.粒状の基体がイオン交換樹脂である請求の範囲25の方法。
- 30.金属酸化物が放射性核廃棄物スラッジの中にあり、該方法がスラッジを部 分的または完全に溶解させるために使用される請求の範囲19の方法。
- 31.金属酸化物含有物質から金属価値を回収または廃棄する方法であって、 ジホスホン酸もしくはポリホスホン酸と還元剤とが、それぞれ金属酸化物の溶解 に関して相乗効果を発揮する量で存在する混合物との錯体を形成させることによ って、金属酸化物を溶解させた後、 錯体を破壊して金属酸化物を錯体から解放して、回収または廃棄することを含む 方法。
- 32.酸化剤での処理によって錯体を破壊する請求の範囲31の方法。
- 33.酸化剤が過酸化水素である請求の範囲32の方法。
- 34.混合物がpH調節剤または腐食防止剤をさらに含有する請求の範囲31の 方法。
