Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 この発明は合成樹脂製器具本体、例えば輸液バ
ツク等の軟質合成樹脂容器の本体所定部位に、該
容器本体に対し材質的に熱融着性に乏しい物品を
熱融着により接着する方法に関する。
〔従来の技術〕
医療用の合成樹脂容器、例えば輸血バツグは高
圧蒸気滅菌(通常、115〜121℃で15〜45分間)に
耐え得る耐熱性、および凍結保存にも耐え得る耐
寒性、さらに、適当な透明性、柔軟性、耐水性等
が要求される。そのため、これらの要求に適合す
る材質の選択および処理がおこなわれる。しか
し、これらの点を考慮して形成される合成樹脂容
器本体は、のちに装着される筒状口部材質との熱
融着性との関係では、必らずしも良好なものに限
られるわけではない。
したがつて、この容器本体に対し材質的に熱融
着性に乏しい筒状口部を熱融着により装着する場
合、従来、容器本体と筒状口部の双方に対し熱融
着性を有する合成樹脂からなる接着チユーブを予
め成形しておき、これに上記筒状口部の下端部を
挿入し、ついでこの組立体を上記容器本体の口部
装着予定部に挿入したのち、高周波等により加熱
し、筒状口部を上記接着チユーブを介して容器本
体に一体的に装着する方法が採られていた。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
しかし、上述の如き従来の口部装着方法によれ
ば、筒状口部のほかに接着チユーブを予め成形し
ておく必要がある。つまり筒状口部と接着チユー
ブの2部品を必要とする。さらに、筒状口部を容
器本体に装着するのに先立ち、接着チユーブを最
初に筒状口部に装着する必要があり、そのための
組立て装置を必要とするなど工程的にも複雑とな
るなどの問題があつた。
この発明は合成樹脂容器本体に対し材質的に熱
融着性に乏しい物品、例えば筒状口部の上記容器
本体への装着工程を、従来の如き接着チユーブ等
を必要とすることなくおこなうことができ、した
がつて工程的に著るしく簡略化することが可能な
合成樹脂容器の製造方法を提供することを目的と
する。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本発明は上記問題点を解決するための手段とし
て、合成樹脂製器具本体の所定部位に、該器具本
体に対し材質的に熱融着性に乏しい物品を熱融着
により接着して合成樹脂製器具を製造する方法に
おいて、 該物品の少なくとも熱融着予定部分の表面に該
器具本体と物品の双方に対し熱融着性を有する接
着層を一体成形により被覆させ、これを上記器具
本体の所定部位に当接し、ついで熱融着すること
を特徴とする合成樹脂製器具の製造方法を採用し
た。
なお、熱融着の手段としては一般に超音波融着
法、加熱圧着法、高周波融着法を用い得る。
〔実施例〕
以下、この発明を図示の実施例を参照して説明
する。
第1図は輸液容器の平面図を示すものであつ
て、軟質合成樹脂製容器本体1と、この容器本体
1の一側縁部に突設された筒状口部2とを具備し
てなる。この容器本体1は例えば厚さ0.5mm前後
のエチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)シー
トを2枚重ね、口部装着予定部を残して周縁部1
aを熱シールあるいは高周波シールしたものであ
つて、さらに耐熱性、耐寒性を付与させるために
電子線照射により全体的に架橋処理されている。
筒状口部2は第2図に示すように上端開口部に
キヤツプ3を着脱自在に装着し得るようになつて
いる。さらに、その容器本体1との接着部分2a
の外側表面には未架橋エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重
合体が接着層4として約0.7mmの厚みを似つて被
覆されていて、これを介して容器本体1の内面と
熱融着されている。なお、筒状口部2自体の材質
としては高密度ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等
の未架橋EVAとの熱融着性の良いものが用いら
れる。
この筒状口部2は例えば通常の2色成形法によ
り口部本体2bと接着層4とを同時に成形するこ
とができる。例えば芯型と、第1の外側金型とを
用いて、口部本体2b部分を成形したのち、芯型
をそのままにして第1の外側金型を後退させ、第
2の外側金型を前進させて接着層4部分のみ被覆
成形させることにより上記筒状口部2を2色成形
することができる。
この2色成形された筒状口部2はそのまま容器
本体1の口部装着予定部分に挿入され、ついで加
熱圧着あるいは高周波加熱によつて容器本体1に
熱融着される。
なお、接着層4の一体成形法としては2色成形
法以外の方法によつておこなうことも可能であ
る。また、口部本体2bに一体成形される接着層
4の厚み、被覆範囲は上記第2の金型寸法を適当
に選ぶことにより任意に調整することができる。
〔発明の効果〕
本発明の一具体例としての口部装着方法によれ
ば従来の如き接着チユーブを別途製造する必要が
なく、その結果、組立部品点数を減らすことがで
き、かつ従来の如く接着チユーブを口部に装着す
る装置、工程も不要となり、製造工程の簡略化を
図ることが可能となる。さらに、容器本体との接
着媒体である接着層は予め口部に一体成形されて
いるから口部の容器本体に対する接着を、より確
実におこなうことができるとともに接着強度の向
上をも図ることが可能となる。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 合成樹脂製器具本体の所定部位に、該器具本
    体に対し材質的に熱融着性に乏しい物品を熱融着
    により接着して合成樹脂製器具を製造する方法に
    おいて、 該物品の少なくとも熱融着予定部分の表面に該
    器具本体と物品の双方に対し熱融着性を有する接
    着層を一体成形により被覆させ、これを上記器具
    本体の所定部位に当接し、ついで熱融着すること
    を特徴とする合成樹脂製器具の製造方法。 2 合成樹脂製器具が輸液容器である特許請求の
    範囲第1項記載の製造方法。 3 熱融着を超音波方式でおこなう特許請求の範
    囲第1項記載の製造方法。 4 上記一体成形を2色成形法でおこなう特許請
    求の範囲第1項記載の製造方法。
